United Kingdom | 22 December 2021Is anyone missing a bill for £160.90 ? I've received countless emails chasing me for non payment of this bill. I DONT HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM. I've emailed politely telling them this isn't mine. I telephoned and was told this would be sorted but 2months later it hasn't been. I even emailed again. My worry is that someone out there has an outstanding bill and is potentially going to get legal action or get cut off and yet knows nothing about it. What am i supposed to do, to get this sorted?

United Kingdom | 21 December 2021Terrible customer service. No response to emails and can't get anyone to speak to when I call. Have been charged wrong amount each month (for gas and electricity but we only have electricity supplied). Had to just cancel DD and wait and see. Avoid!

United Kingdom | 19 December 2021AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! Words cannot describe how horrific this company is. They mistakenly open two accounts in my name and have consistently billed me twice per month. I have contacted them numerous times by email and by phone, but they just don't respond. I switched to another company, paid the final invoice and now they keep sending me default payment for another final invoice. Luckily I never agreed to set up a direct debit, otherwise they would have bled me dry. I cannot underline enough how terrible this company is. My best guess is that they are deliberately scamming people for money. I hope someone takes them to court!

United Kingdom | 18 December 2021AVOID!! 4 phone calls (random company takes there calls and passes the message on or doesn’t) and 6 e mails which included closing reads, photos etc. They never respond to a call or e mail and just send estimated read invoices so invariably you pay more. The customer service is non existent so if you have a question or problem you will therefore have an issue. You cannot not get worse customer service.

I see from the reviews that I'm one of many unhappy customers in this position. You can not speak to a member of the team and emails are not being answered.

This company needs their licence removed

I have had 3 lots of direct debit payments taken this month instead of one.tried calling, emailing and live chats. I keep getting told a customer advisor will call me back but no one does. I have no emailed them informing them that I have cancelled my direct debit. Maybe someone will contact me now they won't be receiving any payments??

United Kingdom | 02 December 2021i used to pay monthly for gas and electricity £170 monthly Neo energy offered me £134.81 monthly so i switched to them 6months ago so the 3months i started receiving monthly bills for £237.88 on top of the direct debit of £134.81 i phoned the firm and left messages and also emailed them but still no answer .

Phone calls are picked up by a third party call centre who can only pass on messages. No one from the company ever answers the messages. Chat is the same. Emails are never responded to either. I’ve had to take my case to the ombudsman.

United Kingdom | 24 November 2021do not get back to you ,can not get a monthly usage or cost off them even though readings sent monthy plus left them in sept 2021 still send bills for monthly direct debits which i stopped direct debit when left will not sen final bill or any thing to show charges ect for when i was with them do not use them no service or anything am going to omnibus this week to try to sort things,they took 4 payments and i was only with them 3 months

United Kingdom | 23 November 2021this company is, in my opinion, the worst one ever, all was fine at the start, then, when price increases were announced, rang them every day, for a week, to try and sort out the best tarif for me, " sorry i can't deal with this, will pass it on to our accounts dept., and get them to ring you back" ha, what a joke, changed companies at the start of Oct., still getting invoices from Neo, kept ringing, sent emails, no response back, apart from, "you have cancelled you direct debit to us", is this a mistake?. still no one have had the decentcy to ring me back. now got them blocked, and not recieved a refund from them...bloody cowboys.

United Kingdom | 23 November 2021Worst customer service ive ever dealt with..I have been trying to contact neo for 3 month each time someone answers but they r not equipped to deal with any query except taking your meter reading when u cancel which i had to do..Was with them 6 month and never recived a single bill till u cancel then the keep saying i owe money but i am in credit...I still cannot get an answer from snyone how to get my money back

United Kingdom | 17 November 2021Joined Neo without any problems initially and then was changed to the new 4.1 tariff. Last month they increased my direct debit which was fine as there has been an increase everywhere for fuel. However, Neo decided to invoice me three different amounts and instead of paying the agreed £155 they took in total £450+ from my account. I have emailed many times and this is always ignored and no return contact made. I have rang several times (usually their phone line is having 'technical problems' and have to phone back another day. When you can get through to speak to someone they are unable to look at the account or make any comments regarding the invoicing and multiple billing. They then advise they will raise this as 'urgent call back' for the billing department and of course nobody calls back. This month I have so far been invoiced once but am expecting more invoices to be issued. I have cancelled a direct debit with Neo and if no response to my complaint will be going to the Ombudsman. I have been with bad energy companies in the past but not one that takes your money multiple times without any communication. Stay away!

United Kingdom | 16 November 2021The worst energy company I have ever joined. I do not understand how anyone can give them good reviews. I joined in April. I have just left them as they have never once sent me an itemised bill despite emailing them probably 30 times, phoning and writing to them. With their new rates they somehow came up with a calculation of £155 per month and sent me their 'estimated' bill, the first one I paid but now I have refused because it is well over my actual usage and I should receive a final bill, not an estimated one. I have calculated the units plus standing charge myself and I owe them about £100. Be careful as I notice that with other people they have put the decimal point in the wrong place intheir calcualtions and have charged £10,000 when it should have been £1000. I would give no stars for this company but that is not possible. Stay away!

United Kingdom | 11 November 2021I posted 4 weeks ago about Neo taking 2 payments instead of 1. This left me without food and money for 3 weeks, and damaged my credit score when I had to borrow money to feed myself. I had all sorts of promises of refunds by certain dates, basically spent hours on the phone and writing emails chasing this up. It was humiliating and awful. They never reply to emails, meaning you never have any evidence of what they say to you to get you off the phone. I sent meter readings regularly. They've never given me any sort of itemised breakdown of my use, despite my numerous requests over the course of 3 months. All they send are invoices for random amounts with no breakdown of costs or use. I cancelled my direct debit and haven't paid any of the 3 differing invoices I've received this month. I've emailed them explaining I'm not paying due to their unreliability, they haven't called me to discuss this. All I can say is: if you're a customer, just stop paying. I'm waiting for the time to tick out so I can go to Ofgem, what an massive waste of my time this has been.
