I had a terrible experience with TopCV. They completely ruined my CV, and it's clear they rely on AI rather than putting real effort into their work. They promised to apply to three jobs on my behalf, but they never did. I received no updates, no applications—nothing. I had to constantly chase them just to get a copy of my own CV, and when I asked for the Word document, they refused to send it. Their service is misleading and untrustworthy. Save yourself the frustration—avoid this company at all costs.

Wow, where to start. In my case the reviewer was in in a different time zone (my guess is India) so there was a built in delay for every contact. didnt even respond to my requests for changes which I sent on the tuesday. The edit window finished on the friday with still no response he used AI for quite a bit of the content, esp the cover letter. CV created was rubbish, he said he was supposed to detail the last 15 years of my career, but actually only did 6!

The process was excellent because the expert took the time to thoroughly understand my career goals before creating the documents.

Les envié mi CV y Carta de Presentación. Pasados unos días me enviaron los documentos revisados y ha sido una decepción total, de poca o nula profesionalidad. Me puse en contactos con ellos indicando una serie de sugerencias para modificar los documentosy me contestaron que se ponían a trabajar en ello. No he recibido los documentos nuevamente revisados. TopCV es un engaño total, te cobran, revisa una máquina tus documentos, te los envían con las modificaciones y adiós, una vez que han cobrado no te hacen ni caso, por mucho que reclames.

They absolutely destroyed my CV. I am a Board and C-level senior executive and they removed 75% of my experience because people could guess my age????? As if board members were in their early 30s?????? The CV they returned was gibberish. I asked to cut paste my original CV in the template (which was improved compared to mine), they did not even do it. DO NOT PAY FOR THIS SERVICE.

The writer who was tasked with my working with me, really collaborated with me, producing what seems to be an excellent CV. A task which was not simple given my very diverse working experience, and unusual career. Would certainly reccomend.
