I brought a Truckman top for my hi-lux I must say they look very smart but many times when driving the back just pops open on its own and we have to slam it shut and bang hard both sides Second thing is the hinge bolts on door pinch the rubber seal so that when it rains all your expensive battery tools are soaking wet. Doesn’t anyone check these things beforehand

Visited the Truckman head office on Wednesday with a fitting issue of my grand canopy top. I have to say I had a great experience dealing with Mark (sales manager) Sophie and Dean (customer services) they sorted my issue to my complete satisfaction, they gave me a brief tour of the workshop so I could see how they fitted there tops. We have had such a fantastic service from Truckman, in particular from Sophie. We had an issue with the original Truckman canopy fitted to our Ford Ranger, which we didn't really want to go back to the dealer about. Even though it's been through the lockdown period, we've had good communication and great customer service and it has now been sorted out to our full satisfaction. That's what I call great service. Thank you!

Booked in Decked drawers to be fitted in March 2021. Never told I have to pay upfront for them. Booked hotels locally for a 4 hour drive. Sent them a courtesy email asking booking is still on a week before, they demand payment by bank transfer or will cancel order! Said I was not told and would like to see product they’re charging me £1,600 for plus fitting of £150. They said you must pay! Spoke to manager, worse than his staff. Worst company I’ve ever dealt with, cancelled order and will go elsewhere. Stay well away!! Why would they want prepayment unless they sell a substandard product?? Update as of 21st June 2021 in response to Truckmans reply: In no email communications from time of booking which was 10/3/2021 until 7/6/2021 was I asked for payment. On 7/6/2021 I was asked for payment quote: “ in order to secure booking” which was a reply to my email confirming my fitting slot. Why would I pay £1,600 to secure a booking slot - in Truckmans own words? I was not asked to pay up front as it’s a bespoke service, which it isnt, I was asked to pay to secure a booking. Jamie at Truckman, please stop spreading lies I have every single email you have sent me. In not 1 of the 6 emails from 10/3/201 to 7/6/201 has anyone asked me for payment and explained why. I’ll now spend my hard earned money with another reputable company to get drawers fitted. Your loss, not mine!

the order process was good delevery but fitting instructions a bit un clear.

The service on site was good, very helpful staff. The canopy that we had supplied and installed is great but the finish is quite poor, the paint finish in some places is really bad, admitedly they did supply a small pot of touch up paint but when you spend £2,000 you expect a decent paint finish you may need to touch up in the future not straight away. The trims around the side windows turned white after a couple of days and when I contacted Truckman the response was its the polish coming through, not a lot of help sadly.

We found the instructions very poor and it actually took 3 hours to fit. Obviously now we've fitted one we know another would be quicker.

Extremely good service, very pleased with the mountain roll top and bars. Very well fitted.
