United Kingdom | 17 July 2018I had an issue with my Truckman hardtop not locking. I contacted Truckman and explained the issue I was having. After having been sent a troubleshooting guide, which is easy to use and simple to follow I diagnosed the problem myself. Truckman then sent me the parts I needed, free of charge as they were covered under warranty. Once I received the parts I was able to fit them myself by following thier easy to follow YouTube video, from thier YouTube channel! I now have a fully operational hardtop, which I was easily able to repair despite being a complete novice! Well done Truckman, great customer service.

United Kingdom | 11 July 2018Had a slight problem with the exterior handle on my truckman top. Phoned Truckman to price a new one. The customer service is exceptional they took some details advised that it was still under warranty and replaced the part free of charge. Also supplied some information in the care and maintenance to avoid further problems. The part came the very next morning and all is now fixed. Fantastic customer service and great people to deal with. I am a very happy customer "Thanks Sophie and Bob at Truckman" Tony

Earlier this year (June) I had a metal tonneau cover fitted to my Nissan Navara which turned out to be a nightmare and extremely difficult to close. I approached Truckman about three weeks after fitting, voicing my concerns over the accessory they had fitted. My main concern being that in very hot weather I had to stand on the bumper to close the lid and on one occasion drove with it open as it couldn't be closed. The fitting (ie size) was also questionable and the angle of opening inadequate. After a few phone calls and emails Truckman offered me a number of alternatives, two of them more expensive than what I had originally chosen. I chose a Mountain Roll Top which was exchanged and fitted free of charge without any hassle whatsoever.

Greece | 01 July 2018Unfortunately despite all the great reviews on this website, which I read prior to purchase, it's absolutely terrible. It was fitted by Nissan dealership as had bought a new Navara. The water leaked through the extremely flimsy roof bars (I have never used them as roof bars and after seeing the quality I wouldn't even consider this option) you could look inside the canopy when it was raining and visibly see the water running down and through the inside window seals. After contacting the Nissan dealership that supplied the canopy they had to repair the fault as nobody appears to be that interested at truckman. About 5 months passed and I heard a strange noise in the car it was one of the roof bars coming off!!! ( Remember this hasn't or will never be used). I believed the hype but from my perspective they're quality and warranty aren't as great as the reviews posted here. If you are considering these please be careful because in my view they are over hyped and not worth buying. Update I was contacted by truckman after posting review, they were very apologetic, asking for name of Nissan dealer etc. I replied with the information and other details including serial number but haven’t heard anything since. You can draw your own conclusions from that I’m afraid. Another update. I have heard back from from truckman, my interpretation of the email is that they have very few faults of this kind and they test the hardtops for water leaks prior to leaving factory. Obviously this one got through. The cracked roof rail is also an unusual event. They also tell me that the roof rail was sent out within a couple of days of the dealer requesting it. Although this sounds a very plausible email I can't understand why there was such a delay in both the leak repair and the roof rail getting repaired. Perhaps as the email infers the dealer did not request things as quickly as I was told or possibly a mix up in paperwork on both sides. I have revised the review and given it 2 stars now as the communication from truckman was very good post review. Unfortunately I still don't rate the product as supplied.

Cyprus | 01 July 2018I placed an order with truckman who are trading under autostyling. I was told my order would be delivered within the latest after one week this was 3rd of April 2018. The order did not arrive. I phoned on numerous occasions to be told again that the order will arrive at latest within one week. I have yet to receive the goods that I have paid for back in April. I emailed on several occasions and did not get a reply to my email. I phoned the customer service and was either put on hold or not connected. Now I have to dispute the payment with the credit card company. I have set a deadline for the vendor until tomorrow noon. I will be very surprised should I hear from the salesperson by email with confirmation of the refunded payment. 3 months after placing the order.

The warranty repair was carried out very promptly and exactly as I would've expected. Quality product with an equally quality customer services / front of house team, thank you Truckman.

United Kingdom | 21 March 2018How refreshing to meet such a helpful and dedicated team at Truckman. I had been experiencing some problems with a Truckman top that my local Nissan dealer had failed to resolve. Nissan (WR Davies) were under the impression that there was only a 12 month warranty on tops, and failed abysmally to fit a new lock supplied by Truckman. A friend with a similar lock problem informed me that warranty was 3 years and that Truckman had sorted his problem promptly. My problem had been awaiting rectification from WR Davies since mid December and following a botched repair attempt I was still 'lockless' in mid March. I was straight on the phone to Truckman and what a revelation their level of service was. Problem solved within days. Fantastic. One very happy customer. Many thanks to Becky, Julie , Sophie and Rob for their superb attention and cups of tea whilst waiting.

United Kingdom | 20 March 2018Initially had problems getting hold of Truckman for some warranty repairs, I had several failed attempts to contact them but tried again today and Sophie got back to me straight away on two separate cases and was very apologetic and pro-active hence why I have decided to give 4 stars. Would of been 5 if it wasn't for the initial lack of contact. Great customer service by sophie though! and she is organising parts to be delivered to me for tomorrow!

United Kingdom | 07 March 2018Phoned Truckman today to discuss central locking problem, within 2 hours problem rectified by the very helpful staff at Truckman after a visit to their Brierly Hill site. I cannot thank their staff enough they were brilliant especially Sophie from customer services and Robert from sales they have restored my faith in very good customer service, going back in a few days having further accessories fitted. I can honestly say I would recommend to anyone the services offered by Truckman.

United Kingdom | 24 February 2018I have recently help my father to buy a Ford Ranger and he wanted a hardtop. After looking around I decided on a truckman grand. Called Truckman direct and spoke to a helpful chap called Marty. He arranged the hardtop to be installed at there factory and arrange a time that suited us. He gave a follow up call in the morning of installation to check we was still ok for the appointment. Arriving at Truckman we was welcomed and explained the time of installation and showed us additional items we can purchase from rugs to other gizmos. We choose to buy an additional rug for our Ranger, paid and shown to a waiting area. Marty gave us some goody bags which was a nice touch. Later we was given a tour of the installation factory and saw our vehicle being prepared. The installation did take an hour longer than stated but a nice chap called Bob gave us a demonstration of our new top and explained maintenance best practices. We are very happy with our Truckman grand and the service given. If I could suggest any feedback would be a viewing window of the installation area so you can see the progress of the vehicle. Big thank you Truckman and the guys!

United Kingdom | 26 September 2017Brand new £45,000 2017 V6 Amarok in black delivered by VW with chipped Grande Truckman corners down to the white plastic and orange peel effect paint and now failed central locking. Truchman have sent VW 2 replacements. The first had runs in the paint and the second has defects that have been spayed over from the plastic mould (as described by the onsite truckman engineer) and lots of scratches in the paint down one side. Waiting for a written response from Truckman....... I'm not holding my breath
