I started my refi during the covid-19 pandemic. During the loan time frame, I lost my job due to financial concerns for my employer. I found a new job and started building my income history again. American Financing stuck with me through this process of months to build enough history. They were able to get me qualified and complete the refi. Their professionalism made it all possible. I was so excited to give American financial my business I talked to Matt and we had spoke for a long time my gf and I were waiting to have one credit card payment get posted to see if our credit score would jump Matt said he would contact us early August if he did not hear from us that was on July 21st over that weekend we noticed the debt drop off our credit so I reached out to Matt Monday morning on July 25th I was told he was direct messaged and he would contact me later that day I didn’t hear from him all week I had to call them Saturday on August 1st to figure out what’s going on for them to explain to me that our credit score needs to be a 660 for a conventional loan and a 680 for an fha and we don’t qualify that is fine but I wish they would have notified me on Monday or something to reach out me I tried multiple times to contact them if they would have told me that on Monday I could have looked for more lenders but I waited for them expecting something they have great reviews and supposedly great customer service but I did not receive anything remotely close to the reviews or what Payton Manning has claimed

I was so pleasantly and happily surprised by the great experience with Hank Metzger and the rest of the American Finance team. Everyone, especially Hank, were very helpful always answered the phone and my questions very kindly and quickly. I would definitely recommend using your company again! She wasn't the operator to direct my call, she actually was the the person who wrote my mortgage application. Suzanne worked with me throughout the loan process. American Financing is the only way to go when doing a refinance. This is the second time we have used them and like the first everything went very smooth. Even though we had to deal with the Covid 19 situation, they were able to do everything via the internet. Hank and Alicia were super to work with and were able to handle any questions that we had.
