Having been a long time customer I always deal with American Financing with great confidence. I don't know how much of an impact COVID 19 has had, but the experience this time was extremely drawn out. I think we were at it for more than 3 months with no particular explanation why. While very friendly, our consultant didn't seem to listen to our questions and other information we provided. She worked hard to get us reasonable terms, but again, everything took so long. I would still recommend this company.

The people we worked with were super nice. If we were more "techy" I am sure the portal would have helped with the paperwork issues we had. I did feel for the amount of the mortgage (very small) , our credit scores (high) and debt to income ratio (very low) it would have been quicker and easier.

Excellent experience from initial contact with the mortgage consultant all the way through the process to my experience with the notary. Everyone was friendly, helpful, considerate and very easy to contact and work with. I would recommend this company. JMM

Started a refinance with American Finance on May 7th and closed on June 25th! I was unsure how the process of doing all of this online would be, but it was easy to do for someone who doesn't work with computers much! The individual we were assigned to was Colleen Hall. she was so professional and helpful during this process. She understood what we needed as our final goal and was able to assist us in doing this. Our processor was Joyce Todd and no matter what she requested of us, if we weren't sure what exactly she needed, she explained it to me so I did know what she needed to get the loan processed. From the start till the end, they always kept us informed as to what the next step would be. From the appointments for the appraiser to the notary, everyone was always on time and so pleasant! During this time of Covid-19 and all the rules of social distance and staying safe, American Finance did a great job! I would highly recommend them! Thank you for all you did for us!!

the people were great, they made the process easy, The only thing that I did not like was that our numbers changed the day before our closing, cutting our cash at closing from $7800 to $4500. I would have been better prepared for this had I been made aware that this was a distinct possibility.
