Had excellent credit above 800, carry no balance on credit cards and no major debts. Was quoted a interest rate with no points. When they sent paperwork, it had points. When calling and checking on this on their recorded line they said that yes it was to be with no points. But yet they never changed it and just started with the excuse that the market changed. Then there was always excuses for needing something else because they didn’t like something. Then after signing final paperwork they still came up with something else to complain about using the pandemic as an excuse, even though my job was not effected. Very bad experience all the way to the finish. Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

This was a seamless loan process: I was happy to deal with the all online and email services provided. It worked wonderful for me. I would recommend it for everyone. Costs were fair.

I was trying to get some ball park figures on interest rates and closing costs before I decided whether or not to refinance. Since they have a system of gathering all your information before they answer any of your questions RJ would not help me. So frustrating! Since I wasn't sure if I was going to refinance, I didn't want them to run my credit just yet. I also did not want to give this person all my information unless I had to. It would be nice if they could be somewhat helpful without having to gather all this info ahead of time. I have worked with morgage brokers in the past who asked me what my credit score was so they didn't have to pull it until they had to.

American Financing was great for my refinance! My mortgage consultant (Suzanne Dew) did a great job answering all my questions and responded to my emails quickly.
