United States | 28 January 2020The DroneBase app is very easy to use and works well. I’ve only completed one job so far but it was very easy. No complaints.

United States | 28 January 2020I wish they would look at weather requirements and not post a job that requires 50% cloudy to be shot within the next 3 days to when the forecast for the next 3 days is 100% cloudy and rain.

United States | 28 January 2020Extremely poor pay for services. Drone base has become the Uber of drone pilots. They skim as much as possible leaving little for the pilot. Recently, Qwil(their payment party) changed the time allotted for payment. After completing a job, Qwil basically holds your payout ransom for over three weeks unless you opt to get a “cash advance” where they take a percentage. DroneBase takes advantage as does Qwil to squeeze every cent possible.

United States | 27 January 2020I enjoyed getting a job available on the dronebase app. I just wish there was more jobs available for me to do in my area.As soon as I turned the assets in for the job the turnaround is fairly quick, i received my fee for my job completed fairly quick. I didn't like that I was charged $.70 it of my fee to transfer the funds to my personal account.

United States | 27 January 2020Let's start this with I live in west Texas. The actual missions for Dronebase are simple enough. The pay is far enough below what I would charge if I were actually doing the client acquisition that most of the time the jobs are only worth taking if they are within ~20 miles of myself, or if they are clustered together enough to justify a longer drive. My average earnings per mission across 11 successful client missions is $76 gross. It also seems as though their rates are going down. A standard CRE shoot has gone from an $85 payout to a $70 payout for the exact same deliverable. Then you come to the issue of their technical support. It may be prompt, but it isn't very useful. Across 4 missions, over 4 days, and 30+ emails not a single one was addressed by the same support staff. So either Dronebase has a massive support team that bounces support tickets around like a beach ball, or the employee identities are fake and names are auto generated. The website is poorly built at best, and offers no useful information at worst. Once you get used to working around the quirks of flying for Dronebase, it can offer a little bit of extra money in the town you live in on occasion. And even more seldom you'd be able to stack Dronebase shoots with travel for actual clients for a little extra cash. Unless you live somewhere that they have a high concentration of missions however, it largely isn't worth the time to make a 1.5hr drive for a $40 job in many cases.

United States | 23 January 2020The delay in the scheduling was annoying and disruptive to the listing process. The photos were fine.

United States | 22 January 2020I like how missions are laid out and I am learning to provide better quality results based on their requirements and training. Communications are good but occasionally, too many different people get involved and it results in confusion. Still the best I have worked with.

Puerto Rico | 21 January 2020Very nice app to earn some extra money!

United States | 16 January 2020The directives for my initial project given by Drone Base were precise and I was able to complete my this project and viewed the results in a Real Estate publication with a few days later. Payment was prompt. I want to continue working with the Drone Base folks.

United States | 15 January 2020Flying for DB has gone from [I can't wait for my next mission] to [should I reply to this mission request or not]. Not sure what's going on and I'm only a drone pilot, but there are a lot of rumblings amongst the pilots about the lack of missions (I know, controlled by the clients and markets) and when there are missions, then the distance and payouts just don't add up. But then you have the Operations Department saying "we've made some adjustments to payouts in response to continued growth of our pilot network and customer base" and "We occasionally adjust payouts based on market supply and demand". Really? Hoping for the best, but hope doesn't pay for any of my bills.

United States | 14 January 2020Excellent customer experience.

United States | 14 January 2020Great concept. Poor delivery and support. App is not working for several months on latest Android platforms with no resolution or explanation. Using an older device permits access to the app but it malfunctions all the time, preventing uploading of images and video. Looks user friendly but it's not. Thankfully my mission only required ground shots. I don't trust the app enough to control my drone.
