We used DroneBase for vacant land real estate images. The ordering process was very simple and easy. Their pricing was better than several local competitors. The images we received matched the brief exactly and were of great quality. We received updates on the mission every step of the way, and the website is incredibly user-friendly. I would highly recommend DroneBase and plan to contact them again in the future.

The quality of the images was blurry and we did send a note to DroneBase but the response was that they did not see an issue with the quality of the images. Therefore I doubt if I will use DroneBase as a vendor for the Kansas City market again.

I have been a pilot for just under two years, though the work stream is fairly light in my market, the projects are easy and convenient to do while building flight hours and experience. Dronebase not having a good working knowledge of the local area(Tree coverage, property accessibility, etc) has lead to some challenges in completing missions as specified but communication is well enough to get missions completed.

When I arrived at the job site, I was unable to mark myself as 'arrived' because the DroneBase software was incompatible with my dji Smart Controller, and the app on both my Android and iPhones would not allow me to check in unless they were connected to the drone. Special instructions were provided, though way point coordinates were not. I had to find the waypoints by dead reckoning. I followed the instructions exactly and ended up with 4 sets of photos. The upload interface on the PC was very confusing. It indicated that I already had sets of pictures uploaded. I had to try twice to upload the picture sets, and then was asked why there were only 4 sets instead of 8. After a bit of back and forth, the mission was finally marked complete and I was paid.
