I requested two properties to be shot together because they were within three houses of each other. Your company not only did not follow through with this request, but had an employee follow up with me to ensure that the second house pictures did not get delivered. I found this to be an extremely weak way of conducting business.

Mission details were vague even after trading emails with DroneBase team members. Additionally I was told that I needed to reshoot (no pay) despite following the instructions provided.

Dronebase has done a fantastic job of connecting consumers to drone pilots. Generally their pricing is fair for both sides. They offer training to their pilots which is another great benefit to customers and pilots. The only downside is that their lower level internal staff are not as knowledgeable about the drone industry as they need to be. Often they don't understand airspace restrictions, weather implications, and other factors that require some flexibility. The impact of this is seen to the customer as a delay in deliverables. This can usually be resolved through escalation and only affects a small portion of their missions.

I have been flying for DB for almost three years now. I have flown over 60 missions and they are a pretty good way to earn some extra cash, but far from enough work to make a living from, but then, I never expected that. What does bug me about their system is; that they don't have any sort of preference for experienced or long time pilots to have a decent shot at replying to a new mission. They are often gone within minutes. Secondly, they have a flat payout structure which seems unreasonable based on difficulty of some of the missions. I had a recent job in downtown Seattle, of a high rise property that was over 300ft high. It was surrounded by buildings some as high as 600ft or more. It was very challenging and risky flying in narrow canyon like streets.. I got the job done, after having to move several times to try and find a good location to shoot from, trying to avoid street hustlers nagging me for change, crazy DT traffic, EM interference etc. It was also two blocks from a Class B height restricted zone. All that to say, it should have paid a lot more then the average commercial real estate shoot in a strip mall or a business park in the burbs.. It should have paid twice as much in my opinion. I mentioned that on the feedback, but never heard any reply. So for that alone, they lose two stars.. If they fixed the payout and made it scalable based on difficulty, and maybe gave some sort of preference to experienced, long time pilots, they would earn back those two stars.

1. Some missions are not adequate compensated. 2. Drone base needs better control over some of their partners. 3. There are times when being able to physically speak with someone promptly is necessary and almost impossible with DB. They don't hesitate to call when they have an issue but we can't call them

The overall process of deploying a project through Dronebase is very good. However, once in awhile there have been communication issues between dispatching, scheduling and the client receiving the services.

Cool company. Not a full time gig but definitely a way to make a little extra money and have fun doing so!

I've only had positive things to say about Dronebase. I've flown 50 missions and have been happy with the mission types, Dronebase support and compensation. I've been able to fly various mission types which keeps things interesting. The best part is Dronebase payouts are quick! Complete your mission, submit your assets and you'll be paid quickly!

I love flying my drone, and dronebase makes it profitable to enjoy flying, without needing to edit any captures. More time in the air and less time sitting at a computer editing.

Just finished my first mission few days after completing my CRE Badge. Shot list was clear and detailed, tried to use LAANC from DB app and gave me an error. Hope to get invite to other Badge Certification. Got paid in 24 hours. Uploading assets is time consuming. Would recommend to other pilots. Waiting for my next mission.

I have done flight missions for a while for dronebase but noticed a sharp decline. The pay from when I first started has essentially been reduced by 50%. Not sure why. There is an automatic response when accepted a mission that requires you to respond with a word to indicate you understand the mission. Once you do that, you keep getting those automated responses requiring you to respond and if you don't, the mission will be canceled and open for another pilot to take it. My biggest concern however is when the missions become available. Many missions become available at or around midnight, not close to regular business hours. I would check my email or dronebase app in the am, and would see many upon many flight missions made available and sent out at 12am in the morning. I'm not sure how fair this is for the pilot market.

I’ve had a great working relationship with DroneBase in the 30 missions I’ve completed successfully. Then all of a sudden one of my missions that was well executed was refused because it was “too cloudy”. I wish DroneBase would have made their cloud concern clear out of the gate. I say this because I have been paid many times for missions completed in similar conditions. Concerned about wasting time, money, effort & not being paid for future missions.
