United States | 15 December 2018Dronebase is a great program for drone pilots. Whether entry level or advanced, DB offers great training opportunities. What I don't appreciate about DB... They have a holier than thou approach. Whenever I request additional information regarding a project I am signed up for, I receive a generic response. I am the one illegally entering neighborhoods because they have never, ever included a gate combination code. Very frustrating to say the least. It could be such a better run program.

United States | 14 December 2018In my opinion, probably the worst thing you could do as a new pilot is get signed up with this company. After the first "Mission" [right like we are back in Nam] you may get the feeling something is off with them. [No phone number should have been clue #1] Just don't be like me and waste your time going back a second "Mission" [like we're Secret Squirrels] only to have your gut be correct. You will be sent to the WRONG ADDRESS more than once; told your sky is not blue enough, [weather forecasts show clear, dont account for cloud seeding aka Stratospheric Aerosol Injections- yes that's a thing and will ruin your sky shots] told never to edit assets before submitting them, then asked to edit photos before submitting them, [because they appear "too dark"]. You'll be sent to a legit crime scene generating neighborhood to take photos of trap houses; have fake thugs literally get in your face asking "What you doing yo -I got a gun yo- you tha police yo?" etc. all while trying to navigate your aircraft safely. You'll undoubtedly have to file a police report when this happens. Stay strapped and be ready to contact local law enforcement before you go on their "Missions". You'll have your assets rejected and have to re-shoot [all expenses paid by you] all in order to cash in a whopping $65 [give or take]. If you have time to waste in your life dealing with a different person LITERALLY EVERY TIME you need to contact them and have NO DESIRE to gain anything [since you cant use their photos in your portfolio anyway], except some flight time and training slides. [I'll give them that] If you have no desire for the accumulation of money worth your time, energy or resources, then go ahead and sign up. Dronebase is a suckers bet the whole way through. MEANING YOU WILL LOSE MONEY. And watch they will put a generic "canned" message in response to my rating, but will have zero resolution. They'll just doo-wop your next new Part 107 holder into turning sky tricks like a low rent pimp. Don't let your drone get a aerial venereal disease dealing with this company. Negative 1 star.

United States | 10 December 2018As a pilot drone base has helped add much needed revenue to my small business. I get paid quickly and the jobs are fun. The app needs work. I plan on doing more jobs in the future

United States | 10 December 2018Seems like a legitimate opportunity to find projects in my area. The instructions were straight forward, and price reasonable. I'd like to see the payment process be explained better. Takes a while to get paid. The computer interface was easy to use and upload images. I requested feedback on my submittal but didn't get a response.

United States | 10 December 2018Great forward thinking drone services company for all mapping, real estate and property assessment needs. Efficient and consistent service based organization.

United States | 09 December 2018Simply put, it is what it is. Their business model is build in their favor with no regard for building healthy relationships with their pilots. If you are ok with making a little spare cash with zero stability then it's fine.

United States | 02 December 2018I signed up in September 2018 and finally received a mission in November. The mission was a commercial real estate job. It was pretty easy other than lots of obstruction from trees. I covered the shot list with some extras thrown in for good measure and was paid through Qwil in a matter of hours. The actual payment didn't take place for a week or so as Qwil has a scheduled payment system. The odd thing is I hadn't received any of the training missions prior to being offered the CRE mission. Upon accepting, they sent me the CRE training and requested that I finish it before flying the mission. After that first mission, I emailed support and asked why I hadn't yet received any other training. They informed me that I hadnt uploaded a photo of my FAA license. After a bit of looking, I noticed a camera icon on the mobile app. I received my training missions shortly after and am now waiting for more client missions. Dronebase has a great customer service team! All of my questions were answered quickly and clearly. I won't be getting rich in my area. I don't think there are many users of DroneBase here. Hopefully that will change and I'll get more missions soon.

United States | 01 December 2018My experience has been great so far...the only thing I wish you could implement is a way to search for missions while on a vacation or driving route since I travel so much.

United States | 30 November 2018Dronebase is a terrific service with exceptional quality. Our high end listing was impressed by the production quality, as were we. Highly recommended. Will definitely use them again.

United States | 27 November 2018DroneBase seems to be a very solid company. They make sure their pilots have the right certification and they also provide online training to them before allowing certain types of work to be done. If the work does not meet specification they schedule re-shoots and handle any issues for the client. For their pilots, they offer good communication and pay quickly after completing a job. No complaints and highly recommended.

United States | 27 November 2018Some of the shots could be better

United States | 27 November 2018I do not accept the vast majority of missions offered do to the pay offered for a single mission. If there were multiple missions in an area the low pay per mission could be worked around. But by the time I take travel, safety inspection time, preflight time, upload time, insurance, and other overhead into consideration only a few missions offered are at a break even or better offered pay level. I do take missions if they are offered in an area that I will already be operating in. They pay on time but I cannot perform missions at less than my operational costs.

United States | 20 November 2018DroneBase is a solid company to pickup extra work as a Part 107 pilot. They offer varying types of drone work from residential and commercial real estate mission, to mapping missions. Communication is top notch and they make sure you have all the information you need to get their work completed.

United States | 20 November 2018Good Communication with corporate office. Enjoy getting paid quickly! Not enough work to sustain an income on just this alone but good when it does come in.
