I enjoy flying for Dronebase but you have to make sure your deliver what is required for the shoot. I have had to go back out a couple of times to do a reshoot due to sky conditions or white balance. Besides that I enjoy flying for them

Just another heartless company that uses FAA licensed remote pilots for their resources (equipment, vehicle, mileage, fuel, time, effort, risk). They utilize pilots’ precious resources, but there is no guaranteed compensation for such. If you are compensated, do not expect a payout that is cost effective. This company spends top heavy while the actual troops on the ground get peanuts.

Clear instructions and very fast payment.

Good company to work for, but would like a different way they distribute the missions, instead of first come first serve. Also giving pilots missions closer to their home area would be nice. Otherwise good company and enjoy the relationship I have with them.

We had a really back experience and we are not pleased with the work product at all. The drone shots were delayed by weeks and they were not able to capture the hustle and bustle of the holidays which would have really elevated the photographs and our site. Communication was also very poor and I had to reach out to gain an understanding of why the shots were delayed. The photographer did not shoot during the right time of day which made the site look sleepy (in core Buckhead). Would like a redo.

Been flying for Dronebase for over a year now. If you get the shots right you get paid immediately. Good company!

Fast payout; great communication when needed

DroneBase is a good app for qualified pilots to get gigs. I have done a mission for them. There were detailed specifics on what shots they required and an online training program to get you started. Pay was good and fast.
