Wow, I was apprehensive initially as Motor Dough are not as well known as the other bigger car buying companies. However, Motor Dough are absolutely 100% genuine & an amazing company to deal with. Sam & Adam were absolutely brilliant, every stage of the process they took me through. They offered a good price for my beloved Golf R & stuck to their offer, they never tried to get it lower upon inspection of the car. They immediately settled the remaining finance on my car there & then, & paid me the remaining equity straight into my bank account. All of this was done from the initial call to motor dough, to finish in 24 hours. The guy who came on behalf of motor dough to inspect my car was amazing also, he done a thorough inspection & made the call to Motor Dough to confirm that my car was as described to them. They do not take your car away until they have settled any remaining finance, this was done immediately & they also immediately notify you on the call & by email confirmation that it’s been done. I genuinely recommend Motor Dough, 100% perfect from start to finish. Thank you Sam & Adam.

Absolute liars, I had multiple conversations with this Company about selling my car to them, sent them all the pics and videos as requested, I was then advised that the price agreed, at £1k once everything was reviewed, would not change, upon picking up the car. On the day the guy turns up, he takes further pics, and then suggests he'll send them across and I need to await for a call, I was slightly bemused by this, but then didn't think much of it. I get a call 10mins later and 'Lewis' advises that upon reviewing the pics of the car, the value is no longer £1k but £300-£400, absolute jokers. I did tell him that your colleague 'Will' did state there's no further bartering on the price agreed at £1k upon collection, and that this should be a recorded conversation, they obviously didn't stick to that then! Lewis's response I will deal with this colleague through training or if needs be get rid, pretty decent employee treatment. I then ended the call and sold the car to webuy within 20mins a much smoother transaction and these cowboys were suggesting they are much better that webuy, not a chance they might be a slightly lower valuation than the £1k but there's no stress involved!

Seemless process throughout. Customer service, communication via WhatsApp, collection of my car, and transfer of funds...professional, helpful, availability to answer queries/questions, everything was spot on. The process seems to work. I told Motordough my car had some serious scrapes and scratches which Jamie asked me to photograph and send on Whats App. He looked at the photos and we agreed on a reasonable price, which I was then paid when their driver, Dean came to pick the vehicle up. He checked the photos matched the car and was friendly throughout. He didn't try to reduce the price, or add extra charges, and the money was in my bank before Dean drove away.

I was dreading selling my car because of bad experiences with previous companies. Thankfully, I went through Motordough and dealt with Dom who was fantastic throughout the whole process. Brad collected the car, on time and very polite, and the money was in my account before the car had gone. Change of ownership happened within 24 hours. Couldn't have asked for a better service!

Aaron was the customer service representative who helped with selling our car to them. My wife Claire Woodcock spoke with him. He was understanding of our situation and was extremely friendly and helpful all the way through the sales process. He was very reassuring and made sure that we got a great price for our car! The offer that was agreed didn’t change on collection which we were very happy about. Dan who collected the car was very helpful too! Such a quick, smooth experience dealing Motordough and the money was instantly in the account on collection. Would definitely recommend this company if you’re looking to sell your vehicle!

Waste of time. Loads of pictures sent and conversations, make an offer slightly above others then when they come try to knock hundreds more off. Avoid

I wanted to sell my car so approached motordough online for a quote , mark curry rang me and talked me through the process discussing my offer which was a good, fair offer , he made sure I knew all the information and was happy with the terms , he kept in touch with me throughout the week keeping me updated until my car was collected today by a lovely gentleman Bradley , the whole transaction was very smooth and the price I was quoted was the price I got , there was no quibbling and if you are honest about your car you will have no problems with this company , both mark & Bradley could not have been more helpful, I am extremely satisfied and grateful , and would highly recommend motordough , thanks again guys spot on service ☺️

Fantastic communication from start to finish with Adam Crowther. I sent all photos and paper work to him and he called back with the offer which I was happy to accept. Day and time arranged to collect car. Checks down by Callum who was also such a lovely friendly guy. Contacted by Adam again no drop in price everything as previously discussed and asking for bank details, money was transferred to my bank within minutes. Email received from DVLA to say I was no longer keeper of this car. Callum loaded car on to transporter and away they went. I emaild to see about selling my car and missed the return call. They sent a follow up email with their details and I called them back once I was free. Dom was AMAZING. Super friendly, explained everything and answered all my questions. The whole process was straight forward and easy. I took the requested photos (list was sent via WhatsApp), sent them back and within the hour I was given a price. The car was picked up the next day by two friendly Welsh lads and once they took the car for a little test drive checked it over and confirmed everything I had said Dom called me back for my bank details and again within 5 minutes the money was in my bank. Once I had the money, they took the keys and drove off with KaCar :-) Great Customer Service, no haggling and super smooth transactions. Would 1000000000% recommend. Ask for Dom, he is amazing!

I sold my car to Motordough April 2023. When they collected the car I asked if I could fill in the logbook to say I had sold the car. The man that collected it told me not to bother it would be done by the company when the car arrived there. So off he went. A month ago I received a court fine saying that I was caught driving without insurance in September 2023. I had sold the car by then and I'm assuming whoever bought the car from motordough had not insured it to drive. I am now facing 3 points on my licence and a big fine because the logbook was never done. I attend court soon with regards to this. My car is my livelihood and with 3 points I won't be able to afford to insure it. Please ask your drivers stop telling people to not fill the logbook in when selling to you.

Their online valuation page is grossly misleading. It says they will give you "AN INSTANT ONLINE PRICE". But at the end the price is blank! Having phoned them to find out why it was blank, both the agent (ADAM) & his manager (ROB) were rude & condescending. They are no better than any of the other online car buying site, although they think they are. Complete arrogant time wasters.
