United States | 30 December 2024I was gifted an Inogen one G3 from my friends who took up a collection to buy this unit for me. This happened the year after I was diagnosed with COPD. I was beside myself and found the unit to be very useful. I began to rely on it more and more as my disease progressed. About a year and a half ago it failed, it no longer works with the battery, It just works with 120 V AC power. When I went to replace the unit, I found out just how much they cost. Talk about sticker shock. They don’t even make these things anymore and it was still almost $2000. It’s replacement was over $4000. I heard about Varon through a friend of mine, they came highly recommended. I ordered the least expensive portable unit they had, that was my mistake. After realizing that a 30% oxygen concentrator is not what I need. I contacted the company and explained to them that I needed something that would help me get my levels back over 90 from 80. They were most helpful as they filled me with information on the different types of concentrators. Even though the mistake was mine and mine alone, the conscientious customer service department not only offered to take the unit back, but they most graciously offered for me to sell it to someone else and they would give me a $50 rebate. I chose that option and simultaneously ordered my new 5 L VP-1. I ordered the unit with a spare battery and I can tell you that the ease of operation with this thing seems set up for children. I never once read the instruction manual and yet I use my unit constantly and I’m always recharging batteries after I get home. It’s such a simple process. The machine has six settings, the first five are normal breath detected pulse. The sixth setting changes the pulse to every so many seconds. I did not care for this setting. The entire cost of my concentrator and my spare battery is about 12% of what I was going to pay for the Inogen package. The battery charges while the machine is in use when plugged into a wall. The battery life diminishes rapidly when being used in the higher number settings. Of course that is to be expected. I recommended to anyone and will definitely buy it again if need be.

United States | 25 December 2024The VARON 1-6L Continuous Flow Portable Oxygen Concentrator is great. The shipping of the unit was fast. The instruction manual was easy to follow and I am very pleased with the performance. My 4 instead of 5 is because I ordered a second battery that arrived over a month from the purchase date. Customer service was very responsive and kept advising me to have patience since the additional equipment was shipping from another location. My patience was rewarded by receiving the extra battery today.

United States | 04 December 2024First of all let's me state that I am 78 years old. I was diagnosed with emphysema several years ago. Four years ago my pulmonologist suggested that I go on supplemental oxygen since I'm now in stage ¾ . For the last few years I have been using an INOGEN 1 G5 oxygen concentrator. These run about $3600.00. I bought another one from a different company for $900.00. this is a paired down unit. No battery, carrying case or power cord. My original unit failed after about 4 years. I contacted INOGEN and they promptly replaced it free of charge. Then about a month ago my backup unit failed. That’s when I decided to look around for a less expensive unit. I decided on the Varon VH-2 PRO. I am extremely happy with this machine. Especially because it is a continuous flow rather than a pulse flow machine. It is quieter than the INOGEN unit too. I also love the remote control. I set it at 2 lpm. This keeps my oxygen level at about 97. I highly recommend this unit!

United States | 02 December 2024A very user friendly website drew me in. I was skeptical at the prices because of what I have compared these little gems to. Actually price was down on my list of requirements. I have sleep hypoxia so it was very important to have a quiet machine and at 42 decibels, my dog's snoring easily drowns it out. Very easy to move at only15 lbs and yes, the price was very affordable on a fixed income. I placed my order and by the end of the week it was at my front door in a very well packaged box. I've only had mine for about a month so as to it's longevity I can't say but I am extremely pleased so far and absolutely recommend both the company and their products.

United States | 30 November 2024This is a good product at a very reasonable price. The shopping website was user-friendly. The unit's control panel was surprisingly simple and easy to use. Appreciated that accessories and extra filters were included with the unit. Happy that the unit goes all the way up to a "flow" setting of 7. My only criticism is that with this unit at the high "flow" settings the control panel shows a decrease in oxygen saturation.

United States | 28 November 2024This oxygen concentrator was a gift to my mother in-law who was tethered to oxygen tanks whenever she left her house which decreased her mobility. The Varon oxygen concentrator gives her the freedom of mobility outside the home and she is much happier as a result. The concentrator has worked very well for her delivering her oxygen requirements. It is simple to use and comfortable to carry. I would suggest that the carrying case should have pockets for the accessories (cords and backup battery).

Mexico | 28 November 2024Its use is practical and helps to leave the house, it is not so heavy, and it does not make so much noise, at rest and sitting I use level # 4 giving me 800 Ml per minute, I take 20 breaths per minute and the equipment gives 40 ml per inhalation (40x20 = 800) if I go outside the house I use level # 5 and sometimes 6, it supplies 1000 Ml (1 liter / min) the battery consumption is higher in settings 5 and 6 lasting 2 hours, in level 4 the battery lasts 2:30 - 2:50 hours and the recharge to 100% of the battery is 7 hours should Varoninc.com upgrade to a battery with more hours of duration and less time for recharging, in general I recommend the equipment, good quality materials, it is reliable and the duration time will tell and I would write another review of this equipment, recommendation: as it is by pulses keep the mouth closed so that the oxygen arrives completely when doing the inhalation. I give it 4 stars because of the battery.

United States | 12 November 2024A wonderful and compact machine. Very quiet as compared to other larger machines I have at home. Inexpensive compared to others made in the US. I have had no problems with it.

United States | 29 October 2024The VARON, NT-5/VL-2 Portable Oxygen Concentrator does not deliver a CONTINOUS oxygen flow as described in the product description on their website. This 3 LPM machine is a PULSE portable. Very misleading product description on their website. My doctor told me to STOP using this machine as it was not providing me with the oxygen I needed when not using a stationary concentrator. It now sits in the closet collecting dust. What a waste of money.

United States | 18 October 2024It's great for traveling although it don't last long without being charged, but otherwise I love it

United States | 25 September 2024I have been using oxygen tanks for walking with COPD. This morning, I used Varon V-2, which was a totally different, wonderful experience. The Varon was light and silent and delivered well. It made my early morning walk a joy.

Canada | 29 August 2024I am very!! Pleased with my oxygen concentrator. I recently was released from hospital and I was on oxygen for the ten days I was there. My blood oxygen always being low. Regardless, this machine is just as good to the one in the hospital. The part I like the most is that you can set it at a time you would like it to run for. Plus the price was very faverable and delivery was way faster then I anticipated I would definitely purchase this machine again if I had to. It has so many pluses. It is just what I am looking for
