In a video call Emma Talbot Baker of Geobear was able to clearly and patiently (I was initially struggling to get the phone sound and video to work properly so we had to use a landline for sound and the mobile for video) examine the areas I considered a problem and put my mind at rest. She also offered to review a previous survey we had had done or to organise further investigations if I was still unhappy. This lengthy consultation was done without charge and without the least pressure or hard sell. It's good to know there are still fair, decent companies which want to do what's right for a client rather than simply trying to make money. I would have no hesitation in contacting Geobear in the future should there be a problem with this or another property. Highly recommended.

Today I met with Ian from Geobear for a video consultation. This was a really positive experience! Ian was great, very friendly, honest, helpful and informative. From point of contact, the appointment was set up very promptly and efficiently and the video link to the consultation (indeed the whole process) was efficient and really easy to follow. Ian was able to reassure me and say that from today’s consultation/ video images that he felt confident in saying he didn’t feel we had a subsidence issue (I was convinced we did have). He went on to say that the crack was likely as a result of lintel corrosion and it’s subsequent slight warping. The whole process was great. Louise from customer services was very calm and reassuring and took the sting out of what could have been a potentially a very stressful situation. She arranged a online appointment the same day with Eslam Alata whom I found to be very knowledgeable and methodical in his assessment. Again he was very reassuring and took the practical approach and explored all avenues as to how the issue could be resolved. He was honest in his approach and appraisal and I really appreciate his integrity. Eslam is a credit to Geobear and a shining example of good honest work. Well Done!

I was concerned that our property may have subsidence and stumbled across Geobear by chance to be honest. Glad I did as Emma has put our minds at rest that the bungalow won't fall down anytime soon, living on clay soil has its downsides apparently, we will monitor the situation and should we have any concerns won't hesitate to get back in touch.

I spent 15 minutes on a call with Gavin to talk through my issue and the various options open to me. Ultimately we agreed that it wouldn't be cost effective for me to use Geobear but he still gave me some helpful, honest advice as to how best to deal with my issue.

I contacted the company about the problem I had with cracks in our extension, after the initial phone call I went on to having a virtual meeting where I was able to highlight our problems by video. My contact was area manager Gavin who was able to assess and provide advice and options over the phone. This was followed up with a quotation for the options. Although the costs were quite high, I felt I would be able to get an agreeable and much less invasive and quicker solution compared to normal builders underpinning costs. It was agreed that a drainage report and repairs would be carried out prior to any works by Geobear, and I felt that this was really good advice and well worth the peace of mind it provided. The works were carried out by a team in total of 4 operatives who were very polite and knowledgeable, giving me a confidence in the works being done, which was completed in about half a day, and has appeared to have the desired results. I would recommend anyone experiencing similar problems to contact Geobear for advice and assistance.

We bought a freehold Victorian property and the outhouse had a massive crack in the side of the wall. During the process of planning architectural changes to the home, I contacted Geobear and spoke to Eslam Alata who was incredibly helpful in explaining the reasoning behind why subsidence may have occurred on the property, as well as explaining the process of how we may go about fixing it. The quote came the very same day and it was all such a great experience, it was almost a shame to find out we wouldn't need to go ahead with the work. Had my subsidence was done a year ago. This product has failed my subsidence is back and it's taken months for them to come back and fix problem. Still waiting for them to get in touch. Warranty is only 10 years so guess it will start breaking down around then. Find this a quick fix to solve problems. My buyer fell through due to it coming back. I'm feel like I'm stuck here. Can anyone tell me if mortgages are ever denied to buyers with this method of fixing.

Jon gave a clear description of how Geobear can solve the problem of settlement of conservatory foundations. He patiently listened to our problem and knowingly homed-in on relevant details, perceptively making tweaks to suit our situation. I felt as though the ball-park estimate was not cheap but I never expected such a precise technique would be. The only insistance was to make sure that the first step should be a drainage survey which does make sense.

We recently used Geobear for ground strengthening work which involved injecting a polymer resin into voids under the foundations of our building which had caused some instability to the building. The work involved was clearly explained and priced before hand and the work was carried out in a morning with no disruption to our lives as would have been the case with traditional methods of foundation work. In addition the work is covered by a 10 year gaurantee.

Firstly, I was unable to use google meet for our appointment!! Enda was so patient and kind. He called me using what's app instead. My house had previously had subsidence and I was worried it had returned.
