If you are having to personally pay Geobear, meaning your Insurance company are refusing to cover the costs then Firstly my advice is read the terms and conditions, what they don't tell you is they will only allow 1 free retreatment meaning over a 10 year period if they are required to insert resin more than 2 times you have to pay thereafter, they do not tell you this when they talking of stopping subsidence in one day and talk of the 10 year guarantee, you are misled into believing that one payment stops the subsidence and covers you for 10 years not the case I am afraid. It has only been one year and already we have used our free retreatment. Secondly they have told us that they see ground improvement but have not actually confirmed the house has stopped subsiding. I reported my concerns after two treatments and still seeing cracks expecting them to return and install a monitoring device which I would expect a standard feature for a subsidence company I was flabbergasted to receive an email from them and I quote 'as a next step to understand if there is ongoing structural movement this will require formal monitoring we recommend that you arrange the monitoring with a qualified contractor. So they are not 100 percent certain the property has stopped subsiding and they expect there customer to pay for an external source to monitor the property so the customer can then go and tell the subsidence company if the house is subsiding. This really is not the service expected from a reputable company such as Geobear. To end on a positive though, the crews that attended are very professional and a credit to the company.

An amazing experience from start to finish. Having read about Geobear, I couldn't quite believe that subsidence work could be fixed in 1 day... but it really can. The process from site visit, to treatment brochure sent, to the 1 day work on site... the whole process couldn't have been more smooth. Thank you Geobear. I hope I don't need to use your services again on a property, but if I do, I know where to go!

Geobear were efficient, clear and reassuring from start to finish. We can't recommend them highly enough. After a nightmare 2 years dealing with our Insurance Company and getting nowhere, they were so helpful. Very quick and clean & tidy.

Very pleased with the professional service provided by Geobear. Although we would have preferred a site visit to discuss our requirements the video survey performed due to Covid was more than sufficient to provide us with our quotation. Throughout the lead up to the work being done, we were kept informed with any of our questions answered. On the day of the work, the team turned up when scheduled and completed the job without a hitch leaving our conservatory clean and tidy. All work is guaranteed but foresee no further issues. The original visit to review the job and quotation was professional from start to finish;Paul G reassured me that Geobear could resolve our structural issues with minimal disriuption. His installation team led by Dom were excellent and explained their process clearly at every step.This is not cheap but offers a highly effective solution. I work as a structural engineer. I had a subsidence issue with two properties. Eslam Alata, Geobear's South UK Area Manager, was my point of contact. His advice and assistance have been invaluable in bringing the properties to a stable state. Also despite some variables due to ground conditions, the operation team was adaptable and knowledgeable enough to complete the project in three days. If you have a subsidence problem, I highly recommend them.

Geobear has generally good reviews for the work it completes. I cannot argue with this but my experience was poor. I never buy anything of consequence without research and requesting multiple quotations from different companies. Geobear were responsive and looked efficient. They carried out an initial 'survey' by video call and provided a quote (the first I received), on the telephone with a promise that I would receive I written quote by e-mail. The mood changed when I expressed my surprise at Geobear's quote being somewhat higher than my research had indicated (though I had no comparable quote at that time). I thanked them, requested their written quote and advised that I would await quotations from other companies. I never heard from Geobear again. I called the 'surveyor' who had carried out the video survey and presented the quote on the phone. He ignored my request for a call back. I called twice more but he never answered the call. I then called the Geobear office twice and received promises that they would escalate my request and press the surveyor to forward my formal quote. It was never forthcoming. In the meantime, I was visited by their main competitor's surveyor. He was much more professional/knowledgeable than the Geobear video surveyor. He gave me a much better understanding of the problem, their solution and the way the job will be carried out. He delivered the written quote the following day. I was more confident in this company and felt sure I would give them my work. When the quote arrived it was significantly cheaper than Geobear..... I'm guessing that Geobear knew this would be the case and, hence, didn't bother sending their quote. I felt a little 'used' by this attitude. My advice to you all is not to be drawn in by Geobear's faster sales process. Do your due diligence and interview multiple companies. You may be pleasantly surprised. Look beyond the marketing hype and save yourself some money.

Not happy with lack of communication on date changes on works or lack of replies to our requests for info. but the team who came were good even, though they had operational problems, they got on with the job and were courteous and left the place tidy.

Had high expectations on this company , but left somewhat confused, contacted them re a possible subsidence issue, their area manager attended , confirmed subsidence and subsequently received a quote nearing £20,000. However my Insurance company have said it’s not subsidence, Geobear now say I need to consult a constructual surveyor to confirm subsidence. So why did I receive the quotation to deal the subsidence in the first place ?

The design solution did not prove correct for the actual ground conditions encountered, though the on-site team did then seek to deliver the best compromise outcome they could within the constraints they faced on the day.

Craig did a great job walking me through everything, with Dean and his team stepping in to carry out the job on the day. Professional firm with a friendly professional team who get the job done! Turned up on time, were clean and efficient and answered all my questions. Would highly recommend.

Overall a very positive experience. The team who came to do the works were polite, friendly and professional and left everything looking tidy.
