Being a homeowner and the word “subsidence” comes with great dread. After getting a new drain pipe fitted incorrectly who knew it would cause nearly four years of stress and worry. A lengthy home insurance claim, repairs done then then the original damage coming back after six months (infernal and external cracking and window won’t open properly) then to get a phone call “don’t worry is just settlement” I conducted extensive research and the company Geobear kept coming up. Countless reading up and YouTube videos I decided to contact them. From the first video call, various emails with Paul, I felt reassured they knew what they were talking about and my subsidence issue with the front of my house could be rectified. Martin and his team completed the job with great professionalism and great care was taken with my home. My countless questions of this unique procedure and being nosey whilst they were working, Martin explained exactly what he was doing during various stages. After the injection procedure I was shocked to see one of the main cracks close up and now can open my front window normally. Hopefully in a good way I won’t see Geobear again but can’t fault them enough.

After purchasing my terrace I became aware that there had been noticeable subsidence at sometime in the past. Having completed some research I decided to use Geobear who specialise in a non invasive geopolymer injection method as a way to stabilise my subsidence. Throughout the process Jon Large expertly guided me through how the process worked and what steps were needed in order to complete the work. He also related to me that once the process was complete I would have a Certificate of Structural Adequacy signed off by a Chartered Engineer and 10 year insurance backed guarantee. Throughout the process communication was excellent regarding the paperwork I received and the arrangement of the various visits for workmen to complete tasks. The workmen were friendly and happy to answer questions as to what and why they were doing it. During the final injection Ryan, I think it was, and his brother and another colleague professionally completed their work and then were happy to run through how the injection had gone and answer any questions I put to them. I am very pleased with the work Geobear has done and feel great relief that my house is now structurally sound. It was definitely the best solution for me.

I had some subsidence inside my property. Raz provided a great service in assessing the problem and planning the injection points on a couple of virtual calls. After a false start on the initial day planned for the injections, we rescheduled the date and a team of 4 people turned up to carry out the work. The supervisor was very helpful in finalising the execution of the drilling plan. Drain monitoring was carried out to check for any problems with the drains during the injection process. The floor was lifted by 8mm and cracks at the top of the wall closed. All appears to have gone according to plan. Thank you Geobear.

I had a phone call from Geobear about my subsidence in my garage and spoke to a very off hand man who wanted to know details about exact measurements of the garage ....I didn't have these to hand and he asked Why I didn't have these !!! Then he tutted !!!! and continued with a guess on how much the work would cost ( having not seen the property ) and said 10-15K ??? WTH I of course said this amount of money is not easy to source and therefore I would need time to consider >>>> then he went on the explain how I need this done straight away as it will affect the value of my property and that I would never be able to sell my house as there was subsidence and no mortgage company would lend anyone money to purchase my house ....then said shall I put you down as interested !! then when I said I would need time to think this over and he actually said ....and I quote ' you haven't listened to a word ive said have you .....good luck ' and then hung up. THIS HAS POSSIBLY BEEN THE RUDEST AND MOST DISRESPECTFUL ENCOUNTER I HAVE EVER HAD WITH A POTENTIAL CONTRACTOR AND FIND THAT COMPANY SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND COMPLACENT I WOULD NEVER CEASE TO STEER ANYONE AWAY FROM THEM. Awful customer service ....boardering on smug ! I'm not sure if I'm aloud to post his name.....but wish I could !

Extremely impressed by the helpful and knowledgeable team at Geobear. I was experiencing some relatively large cracks in a wall of my property and was unsure if it was subsidence. I sent over some photos and then had a video call with Razwan which asked lots of questions and wanted to see not only the wall with the crack but the garden to check for any tree issues, and the surrounding rooms. He also did some research into the soil composition in the local area. There was a bit more back and forth over email culminating in another video call, this time also with Craig which asked some more questions before reassuring me that he didn't think it was subsidence but actually a failed lintel! What a relief. He told me to monitor it for the next 6-9 months and any other issues, don't hesitate to get back in touch. What fantastic customer service. Thanks guys!

Geobear have been fantastic from start to finish. Paul Cowan was very helpfully and informative and was always at the end of the phone for any concerns. 10 year guarantee appears to be worthless. I have just wasted a five figure sum with Geobear, to raise a subsided concrete flooring slab within a 40 year old large annexe. Within three years the flooring slab subsided again in exactly the same area. Submitted a claim against the 10 year guarantee in November 2022. Their response was abysmal. It took 9 months before they sent someone to conduct a site investigation with a single exploratory hole, which was less than 0.1% of the floor area treated. They rejected my claim and said their technical team would provide a rational why the claim was rejected. Now 2 months later (December 2023), I am still waiting for an explanation. Wasted all that time and money and I am no further forward with the problem.

Very good experience with Geobear from initial enquiry through to completion of the works yesterday. The structural survey which I had done was appraised by Geobear and followed by virtual site evaluation. Proposals and quotations were provided by Razwan Malik who was a very effective link between the customer and the Geobear departments involved. The enabling and final works were carried out as scheduled and the site was left clean and tidy by the professional team. Strong recommendation for Geobear.
