I've recently had solar panels installed with Project Solar UK. We've been looking into it a lot and I decided to get a quote from them as they had excellent reviews and were one of the larger installers in the UK. Mark was able to come out the day after we inquired and we had a good chat about the options and what might be right for us. They weren't the cheapest quote we had but the thing that won us over was the higher capacity panels that were offered which worked in the British weather and the option to install a decent battery. The install process was really straightforward, scaffolding went up the day before the install and the team installed the solar panels in a few hours the next day. The team from Project Solar has been in contact throughout and answered any questions we had as they arose. We've had them in for about 3 weeks now and the app shows we're running about 95% self-sufficient from just the solar panels. They still produce electricity even when it's raining out as long as there is a bit of sun. It's certainly noticeable on our electric bill as our usage from the grid is showing nearly nothing since they have been turned on. The only thing left to do is wait for the last certificate to come through to finalize the switch to the Octopus flux tariff to maximize our return on the panels. Overall, I highly recommend them and I'm really pleased with the work they did and their customer service. Thank you Andy for chasing up everything for us!

All of the company's staff and their subcontractors were professional, efficient, helpful and friendly. From the fist enquiry, through the surveyor's visit, booking the scaffolding and installation date and then the fitting itself and the post fitting courtesy calls, everyone did their best to facilitate the process. Viktoria explained everything thoroughly and allowed me time to assimilate the information before making my decision. The installation dates were fitted around my availability with no fuss and the workmen involved managed to work around the idiosyncrasies of my Georgian era terraced cottage with good humour and the result is excellent. No complaints and the warm inner glow of becoming greener in the process!

Thoroughly explained everything initially then went out of his way to ensure everything went smoothly and on time. Install team were great and in an out in a few hours. Post install service has also been great so far.

We had Rukesh from Project Solar UK visit us last week and today, just 9 days later we’re up and running! How’s that for efficiency? I can only say we have nothing but praise for the service we have received from the team at Project Solar from start to finish! May the sun continue to shine, although with this system the sun doesn’t actually have to shine to chat those solar rays and it can be installed on any part of your roof. Very professional from start to finish!

From the start of our journey with Project Solar UK on 5 June to the removal of the scaffolding on 25 June we have experienced excellent support and customer care. The local representative, Sam Johnson, made an excellent presentation in our home, having observed the aspect and surroundings he assessed exactly our requirement. The background support team took us through each step and guided us through what was a huge and potentially complex amount of paperwork. The scaffolding arrived and was removed at the times agreed and the installation went ahead at the time agreed. All in all a veritable 5 star performance.

Project solar have been great throughout the purchasing, installation and aftercare. The customer service and help has been second to none.
