We met with a brilliant member of their team, Tony Chatwin, he was helpful and clear on everything we needed to know. All the questions we had, he answered concisely and in good detail. He backed up his facts with figures and statistics that made it very easy to understand. If you are interested in solar panels, these are the people to use. Product quality and Lifetime warranties alone make it better than going for the cheaper options. And with their help to buy scheme, its significantly more affordable.

The team from Project Solar took time to explain everything and were happy to answer any questions we had about the proposed system. Once we agreed to purchase the panels we were given a clear explanation of what would happen and when and we had a couple of phonecalls in the days leading up to the installation date to check that everything was still ok. On the day of the installation the team were quick and efficient and explained everything they were doing, and then cleaned up after themselves once they had finished. All in all I would recommend Project Solar to anyone looking at purchasing Solar panels. The only downside is the app you get to see what the panels and battery are doing is so addictive that you spend all day watching it to time when to turn on different household appliances.

So I finally decided to get some quotes for solar panels, only to find out it is a bit like double glazing salesman 😢 then I came across Stuart from Project Solar Uk. He was a breath of fresh air. Not pushy full of information and answered all my questions honestly. The communication has been brilliant with emails and telephone calls and answering all my questions by return. Installation- fantastic team of guys, they are all employed by Project Solar and were very polite and professional. I’m very anal in the way I wanted the cables run and they accommodated my requirements without question. They have done an excellent and extremely neat job. With regards to the price, yes to start with they were not cheap but after them contacting me a week later they came up with a good deal. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

7.45 am team arrived, 11.45 generating electricity. All aspects of works completed professionally, all contractors competent and courteous. Highly recommended.

We were very happy with the information and detail provided by the surveyor Tony Chatwin, who was professional and helpful. He explained everything we needed to know about the system and answered our list of questions clearly for us to understand. The communication from the company was sent quickly and the panels were installed within 11 days. The scaffolders and installers were polite and efficient and were able to do the work on our choice of dates. We're currently waiting for our energy company to set up their SEG for us to export our excess energy to the grid. The system seems to be working well and we are confident that should we have any issues in the future, they would be dealt with promptly. Kevin and Jackie

When my husband suggested solar panels I was 100% not a fan or interested. However when Simon came to see us he was happy to answer every question I had and made me feel comfortable I could ask away without judging! My whole opinion changed and decided to go ahead! We received a few calls in-between making sure we were happy and everything fitted in well for instalation. 2 really nice guys fitted the system in a day! Unbelievable, really smart tidy job! Could not recommend Project Solar more, if you are interested these are the company to use.

Initial thoughts are not impressed with the conversation I had about being forced into a loan with a 11.9% Apr, which he didn't bother to mention. To quote the expert 'who gives 0 percent finance on loans nowadays ?' (he seemed to know everything). Well my bank does, that's who, for green energy solutions including solar. He was also going to look at the boiler in the kitchen but didn't bother. Seemed in a rush to get off once we didn't agree straight away. As for me trying to keep up with what he was saying (he was talking at 100mph), he basically told me to shut it, after I tried to ask questions, until he'd got all the info in as he only had 90 minutes. He was here 70 minutes in the end. Another point I was told is the maximum you can pay up front is less than £4,000. Why do Project Solar do this ? He was keen to tell memore than once that I'd be short sighted not to go for the offer due to the cost savings - apparently energy bills are set to treble in the next 3 years, I also don't like how easy they make it accidentally hit the submit buttons on about 3 pages of the quote. Too easy to agree accidentally. He also gave me completely incorrect information, stating my solar standing charge would reduce to £5 per month. This doesn't reduce at all. For info I'm with Octopus. Finally he was keen to give me his personal views, having fitted solar to 5 properties he owns and rents out to people (if this was true). I would definitely avoid this company based on my experience with this agent. My quote was over 18K for 10 panels and a 10kwh battery (before any finance interest). Having got other quotes that include premium panels this is significantly the highest. It's an easy decision for me to avoid Project Solar based on my experience.

Having responded to a Facebook advert and not knowing what to initially expect I was initially guarded about getting solar panels fitted. I had nothing to worry about at all. Project Solar have been responsive, knowledgeable and organised every step of the way. Every interaction I have had with the company has given me confidence that they know what they are doing, and customer service is definitely the priority. We had one small issue with our install with the location of the box once installed meant the electricity smart meter couldn't be fitted. This was immediately rectified and I have been regularly communicated with to check I am happy with every step of the process. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone looking to improve energy efficiency in their home and have already recommended them to several of my family members which I wouldn't do if I hadn't had a fantastic service from the company all round. I'm also incentivised to do so, win-win!
