From start to finish our customer experience has been outstanding throughout the sales process, the installation process and through to any follow-up contact with the company. And the benefit we are now getting from the implementation of the solar panel systems adds much more to the whole process.

From initial contact to completion was extremely smooth. Everyone involved with the planning, fitting and system activation were friendly and polite. The installation itself was very quick and quiet and caused minimum disruption both to ourselves and our neighbours. Since installation the system has been totally reliable and I have been surprised by the amount of power we have put back into the grid. I would happily recommend this company.

I was looking into solar and what benefits there would be especially with owning an electric vehicle. The rep was very knowledgeable, answered every question and spent the time explaining it in greater detail if needed. Fitment went as smoothly as I could have wished for, again, was explained to what was taking place and guidance on the app. In between the fitting and after the fitting, communication was maintained and I know exactly what was happening and when and a courtesy call after fitment to ensure I was happy. If I was to move, I would use project solar again.

Installation engineer and roofer were excellent. A lot of knowledge on these systems and good tidy installation and efficient process.

We had Kieran (Devon and Cornwall rep) over today, he was absolutely fantastic and talked us through all the options. No pressure, has given us time to think, very pleased with the service and will definitely be in contact in the future. Regarding the reviews on the other reps, I really think it’s luck of the draw, however we were very happy :)

Everything went exceptionally well. Installation team arrived on time. Scaffold had been erected the day before & came down second working day after works completed. The electrician, Frank, had everything ready, isolation & inverter panel wired & assembled. Installation of electrics & panels co-ordinated, great job. Installation completed, App downloaded, tuition on it use etc. Savings being made as they pull off the drive. I would strongly recommend that if you are looking for a solar panel & battery installation that Project Solar UK Ltd are on your list.

The whole process was so easy and well explained by the sales rep, who wasn't at all pushy. The installation team were punctual and very tidy workers. They explained how to get the best out of the panels. All in all a great product

Has been an excellent experience from meeting with Larry to getting the panels installed. Larry was helpful and insightful during the whole process, and explained all details of what the installation experience would be, which were all delivered. Once we had confirmed to go ahead , the support team were just as professional and helpful. Things happened when they were supposed to, and once installed the weather has been part of the team also!! Thank you Larry, Christopher and Emily for your timely support and help.

Shocking experience. When I booked the quote appointment the agent tried the hard sell of needing both my wife and I present at the appointment. I explained I wouldn’t be in a position to accept a quote on the day because I was in the process of obtaining various quotes. The agent on the phone said it wouldn’t be a problem but both of us must be there. This rang alarm bells. My wife’s plans changed and it would only be me home so I had the courtesy to call the company to advise and they said that it would be fine. I raised concern over the “you must both be present tactic” and the advisor said she would make notes to the sales team and apologised for the hard sell tactic blaming it on poor training. Fast forward to appointment day - I Just had Robert GIBBS arrive to give me a quote and he was terribly disappointed that my wife wasn’t present, said he just drove a couple of hours to get me and tried to make me feel bad about it. He asked me if I’d be able to make a decision today without my wife anyway and when I said regardless of whether we were both here we’d be waiting for 2 other quotes to come through so we could make an informed decision. With no chance of a sale today he declined to continue with the appointment and left. All amicable but just decided it wasn’t worth his time anymore and gave me his card. Wow. What an absolute shocking service - good luck to anyone who gives this outfit a go!

Had made a meeting to learn about systems and get a quote, we didn't want to make any decision on the day. the sales person came in, seemed nice and friendly. The sales pitch was quite longwinded and even though I understand that they need to cover all points, but lost my intreset in it very quickly. When we got the parts of that we wanted to know, the quote turned out to be a lot higher than expected, pretty much double what we expected. When we expressed that we didn't want to make any decisions today due to upcoming circumances, they seemed to keep pushing about the finance options and trying to us to take it on to the point that we felt very uncomfortable, also putting us off going any further with this company in the future. I understand that your products might be the best in market but found other products a lot cheaper. Reading other reviews, feel that your sales team needs to learn to read people and understand that it makes people uncomfortable when they keep pushing for sales.

The whole process was made easy and explained fully. The installation team were clean and tidy and on time. All work carried out was professional and the app was thoroughly explained on completion.

We had a meeting scheduled for 2pm, which ended up lasting over two hours much longer than expected. The representative kept repeating the same points about potential savings and their long-life warranty, making the conversation feel more like a hard sell than an informative discussion. It reached a point where we felt uncomfortable, and unfortunately, we were even late picking up our daughter from nursery. Their pricing was also significantly higher than other quotes we received. In fact, I found a nearly identical system from another provider for £8,000 less. While they claim to be the best, our experience didn’t justify the premium price

Thankfully never got to the quoting stage. They insist I have my partner with me on there quotation. My partner has her own house, so why has she got to be there? I own the property and all I want to is to go greener but the person I was taking to thinks I cant make my own decision on my own property, so if the salesman is a fool what is there workmanship like....... Best go elsewhere.

From date of quote the installation was completed within 2-3 weeks, the 2 guys who came to fit the system were really friendly and helpful getting everything set up, had a bit of an issue with the scaffolders coming unannounced on a Sunday at 07:30 in the morning

I got a quote from them. But it was vague. No itemised items showing make and model of panel, battery or inverter. They also claim a lifetime warranty. I ask to see the legal documentation. I got product sheet send to me but not shown on contract. Project Solar claims it offers a 99year like time guarantee on inverter. Lifetime, according to their own legal pack, means lifetime of the product I.e 15 years, not 99 as they claimed. Also there terms and conditions state that they can replace the agreed product by a similar one if they have supplier issues before the installation. So in effect you have no control of what is installed. I challenged them and then it all turn very nasty. I was told I was a sad person for reading all the small print and that, as a difficult custom, I should reflect on my attitude. Sorry if I don’t want to be bullied by sales person. I was clear of what product I wanted. Project Solar told me they knew better than me. Would you like to be treated that way?

I had a booking for a Friday evening for 6pm. During the meeting I asked the very basic questions but had to wait for the discussion to get to the info I wanted. So we chatted for a while, the person doing my visit was very friendly and personable. After 2 hours we got to the point where the info I’d wanted at the beginning of the meeting was now part of the script and the system failed. All that time wasted. I wa then told that the info would be sent to me on the Monday so i could make My decision. It is now over a week later and the info has still not arrived. The roughly advised cost was more expensive than most which was justified by the great service and warranty available. The service is now pretty poor as well.

This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Excellent sales service, not too pushy but providing all the information as needed. Actual installation was great as well, left the system up and running and explained everything. Hi we’re, it’s the customer service that’s really great, constant communication before, during and after without being in your face. Highly recommend.
