Used for many years and suddenly locked out for no reason and no explanation. HOW can I give anything other than a 1 star would give MINUS 5 if I had that option. TODAY - had a response but it took them 4 months to respond. Sent numerous messages ALL IGNORED AS IF I WAS DEAD. Will respond later today

Update: Since posting this review, my money has been refunded. Writing reviews work. Cancellation of transfer to South Africa submitted 2 weeks ago. The local partner has not sent the mandate to the recipient. Both recipient and myself have sent emails to their local partner, HelloPaisa with no response. WorldRemit takes no responsibility, there is apparently no escalation process to the local partner. I have followed up numerous times with WorldRemit, with no success, in fact an agent has just cut me off on a chat. No complaints or escalation process within World Remit. The app says we are processing a refund which may take 24 hours, however the date is moved on each day, and their agent says they are still waiting on their local partner and can't do anything. So looks like someone is stealing $600 from us...

I was charged extra money for fees

I've been with Worldremit since 05/15/2016. Why did you suddenly reject my transaction and make me go through reverification. I've been waiting for hours to send funds for a very important family care. They have never been misused or fraud on my account. Why?

Kind of expensive compared to Western Union

The website is easy to navigate and the exchange rate is almost always higher than the other companies. The only thing that I would have like is to have Customer Service after 6PM Eastern time in the U.S. to resolve issues that are not covered in the Common Problems section.

I sent money through world remit and it’s 48 hours now and the person hasn’t received it since it was supposed to be instant because it was sent through MTN mobile money. I spoke to and agent through their live chat and she said she has sent an email and that it will be resolved in 24 hours. It’s been 48 hours and still no update. They keep telling me they are waiting to hear from their local partner. The worst is I was chatting with a live agent named Rose and while I was chatting her and still nothing satisfied with the feedback boom!!! She left the live chat . This is really a bad service and will not recommend people using this app for money transfers.
