I wanted to sell my fairly high spec 23 reg VW Polo which has been owned from new, immaculate condition and low mileage. Around 18 months ago I sold my last car through Motorway car auction and was very satisfied with the result. Therefore, I did the same again with this car. This time I was gobsmacked that after two days in auction there were no bids. Next I tried Carwow auction which has good reviews. I got two offers, but the best was £2000 less than the reserve price. Not happy with this, I posted the car details on some of the many websites that offer to buy your car. As expected, I was pestered with texts, phone calls and emails, repeatedly. Most offered less than Carwow, but Big Wants Your Car offered me £350 more, within about an hour or two of posting. They seemed genuine and said the offer was firm as long as their inspection tallied with the photos and description, and they were able to collect the next day. I accepted, and on collection the courier inspected thoroughly and passed me over to speak to someone at the company. The guy said it was one of the nicest cars they have picked up this year and they promptly paid the full amount by bank transfer without further ado. The process was fast, efficient and professional and I cannot think of any reason why I would not award 5 stars.

Really decent all-round experience. Gave me the best price out of all the big hitters. Only slight niggle was I arranged for collection for the Monday and driver showed up on the Friday before, which made me have to stay home on my birthday 🫣 can’t really complain about everything though. I’d definitely recommend.

Easy to follow instructions to take photos of the car then a phone call quickly from Big in which an offer was made. Car collected 2 days later by a friendly driver and money put into my account rapidly. Very happy customer. Will use again when I sell my next car
