Made my first visit today to NWTT's yard in Ashton, went with my father who has used the company for years, went to collect a gate and assorted sizes of timbers. At the sales desk we were helped by a young man named Andrew who was very helpful and patient while I struggled to describe what I wanted, he posses an almost encyclopedic knowledge about all the companies products. Then off to machine shop for cuttings, there a gentleman called Mark doubled checked all sizes with us and did a fantastic job on the measurings and cuttings. Final big shout out to the forklift driver Alf who insisted on helping me with loading the products into my vehicle as it was all part of the NWTT's customer service. All in all a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend this company to all customers.

Decided to build a wooden lean-to/conservatory in the back garden, searched all the usual diy stores for timber only to find the least expensive was literally a 10 minute walk from my house! NWTT in Waterfoot was really well stocked and Ben behind the counter was the most helpful and friendly person ever! All the staff I dealt with were helpful but Ben stood out. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Have had new fences erected in the back garden which required me to dismantle my existing deck. I now have to re-landscape the garden and have decided to incorporate some raised beds made from sleepers. NWTT have a really great offer on at the moment on green tantalised softwood sleepers and as they are fairly local, I decided to go with them. Unfortunately, I had quite a few problems with Worldpay when I tried to order online. So, today, I phoned them. Andrew called me back very quickly and I was able to place my order in double quick time. Looking forward to delivery next week. My thanks to Andrew for his help.

Waterfoot site best wood yard I have found in Manchester. Ben, Jacob, Tony, Ste H, Ste T & Janette always go above and beyond. Prices are brilliant and they’re always happy to receiver customer feedback on items to stock aswell. Never go anywhere else

I'm a new cusotmer to NWTT but will likely return ! My order was excellently delivered and the driver, Pete, could not have been more helpful or obliging. My order was modest and the quality of the timber delivered was excellent. The only blemish in an otherwise faultless handling of my order was that it arrived one day late, without any prior advice. In my case, it actually made no f.....g difference, but if I was trading professionally, it might have done.

I use NWTT often. This order was for 2400x1200 Plywood and Plasterboard sheets. Cheaper than B&Q and Wickes, delivery charge is nominal for me because I live close to the yard. Delivery driver, Marc, arrived first thing and was a great help in unloading and storing the sheets, meaning turnaround time was no more than 10 minutes. Good products, fair price, good service.
