Excellent quality paint, does not require lots of mixing can be used straight from the tin. The paint applied easily with excellent coverage. It's fuss free to use and a definite winner for my home projects. Customer service is excellent.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We completely redid our house and exclusively used Coat paints for EVERYTHING - skirting, ceilings, floors, walls, bathroom, kitchen. By far the best paint we have ever used and excellent customer service from a fantastic team. All our friends and family now use Coat and, for those who brought decorators in to do the work, the decorators have also been converted!

Wish I could give these guys more than 5*. An amazing product, brilliant ethos but what really makes it is their incredible customer service. We're mid renovation of our entire home and safe to say we've experienced a real range of customer service from various companies we've used. I wish they could all be like COAT, it would take so much of the stress out of it all. Will continue to use every time we need to paint anything and recommend to all our friends and family.

We bought their mindfulness paint and couldn't be happier. We usually use little green or Farrow and ball paint and are really happy with our purchase from coat. It arrived really well packaged and the addition of the paint stirrer was a nice touch. The colour is exactly what we expected and looks great in our hallway. It was great to paint with and went on really easily, it took 2 coats for total coverage but this is what we've found the majority of paint we've used. We had some freshly plastered walls to paint and was very happy to find that the coat website contains a page dedicated to using the paint on these walls.

Range of colours are brilliant. I wish I had found in time for kitchen as really struggled with right neutral. My Decorator has said that paints are good to work with and cover very well. Am using for rest of house. All I would say is that the peel/stick samples that I have used are not the truest of colours. I will stick to the pots going forward. But a small niggle.

Fantastic paint and superb customer service! Coat Paints offer an amazing colour range with superb quality and finishes, together with a brilliant customer support team. I was in between quite a few colour options when ordering, and the COAT team were really helpful in advising what would go best together with some quite big colour changes in my apartment. Delivery is fast and the quality of the paint is superb. The decorators who completed the job mentioned that more and more of their customers are using COAT and that it is their favourite paint to use, especially when compared with other well-known luxury paint brands e.g. F&B. I'll definitely be using COAT again!

Forget the ‘usual’ paint suppliers .. I won’t look back now. COAT … brilliant pallet of colours, especially if you’re looking for something a bit different; fast delivery, excellent customer service when queries arose, free samples to try and more or less accurate to dried result. No fuss and flaff - simply went on like a dream. So happy with the results of my utility room transformation, that I’ve already ordered my next project in the hallway! 10 out of 10👍

My first time using Coat Paints. Great website and what a fantastic idea to offer customers three free painted samples rather than the expense of buying samples pots of paint. More eco friendly, less waste. Each sample is painted on paper with a sticky, yet removable, back so that you can place on your wall in different areas of your room in the light of day or night and view the colour absolutely accurately. Great telephone customer service. The paint mixed especially for your order. It arrived within three days, perfectly packed. Quality of the paint was superb with extremely easy application. Wonderful colour selection so would highly recommend.

Fast delivery. Amazing coverage. The colours are stunning. What really did it for me was the positive and rapid response I received when my first delivery appered to be damaged in the post. They were replaced the very next day which allowed us to get on with the painting without delay. Highly recommend both the product and company

We’ve been renovating our Victorian house for 3 years, taking all rooms virtually back to brick and re-plastering. We have used everything from cheap own brand paints for a quick makeover to expensive paints for a final look. Out of all paints we’ve used, this is one of the worst. We choose Adulting for a dark and cozy living room, painting both the in-built bookcases and the walls. Everything was primed in advanced. Whilst the emulsion for the walls matched the sample, the egg-shell was not the same colour. The eggshell was also very “runny”, regardless of how little you used on your roller or brush - this caused huge frustration and multiple times of needing to sand back the droplets and go again only for it to happen again. The eggshell also split and pigmented - once dry you could see streaks of all the other colours it was made up of. Ultimately it looks cheap in same places but thankfully this will be covered up by books. The emulsion still doesn’t look right after 4 coats - patchy and streaky. Again, luckily the room is north facing so direct sunlight won’t show up all the faults. With the cost of this paint being high I wouldn’t recommend it as a final colour. If you’re looking for a quick makeover knowing it’ll be ripped out or painted over later then go for it. Instead go with Little Greene or Mylands - same price, but FAR superior in finish and application.

I originally wrote a bad review of COAT based on a past experience. They recovered that experience quickly and since then I’ve placed numerous orders which all arrived virtually next day. So 10/10 for service. The paint is brilliant. Amazing coverage, very little odour and an on point selection of colours. Great product and company

Categorically the worst paint I have ever used. I bought the colour arctic roll. After prepping, priming and painting over white walls it’s taken my painter 7 coats so far and the coverage is still full of gaps. I’m a designer and he’s done hundreds of projects with me, we’ve never experienced such bad coverage. It’s cost me a lot extra than expected both in paint and in labour- far worse than the cheapest paints! Such a shame because the colour is so stunning but I would say- Stay well away

So pleased with the paint from COAT. Great choices (handy to have the samples to stick up) and customer service was really excellent to help us finally decide which colours to go with. With regards to the paint itself, it’s a dream to paint with - glides on so well and so easy to clean off brushes and trays. You can tell it’s good quality paint as it’s doesn’t give off any strong chemical smells. Thanks so much COAT!

Numerous problems with this paint/company……I will be sticking to The Little Greene Paint company and Farrow and Ball. Our decorator described it as the worse paint he has used not sure where the 5 star reviews come from other than paid ‘influencers!’ ( our decorator is quite laid back and more than happy to use the Little Greene Paint company Farrow and Ball). The courage is poor so it cost an extra day of labour to paint our hallway and stairs because if the additional coat or paint required (£250!). As I had to buy via mail order - ordering in advance is tricky so I over ordered but didn’t realise the 30 days return period (which cost me another £200 in unused paint!). Apparently the paint isn’t re-sellable after 30 days - which is a night mare when factoring in Christmas!! The paint is in its sealed tin and 40 days old, not a good sign of quality and durability!! Don’t fall for the pretty instagram pictures!! I will be going back to the Little Greene Paint company and Farrow and Ball as they are far more reliable and better quality and value for money in my opinion!

I have now placed 6 orders so far with COAT as I start to make my new build home more homely. The website is so informative, the sample packs are great to help choose the right colour for your rooms and the quality of the paint and different finishes is amazing! Such a great paint to work with. I have painted most of the house myself, but I hired decorators to do my stairs area as the walls were very high. They also commented on how lovely the paint was to work with. The customer service team are also amazing and very helpful. I still have a few more areas to paint and will continue to order from COAT!

Great customer service - quick and helpful chat function through the website with a couple of questions we had about claypaint. Then, really impressed with how quickly the paint arrived. Great to mix, only found the stir stick in the box after painting though lol but I know now for next time! We went for Paper Plane on the ceiling and Out of Office on our bedroom walls. Using claypaint on two and flat matt on the other two, absolutely LOVE the shade, exactly the vibe we wanted. Lovely finish and nice and easy to clean up after. Really happy, can't wait to pick the next round of shades for the next room!

I've ordered three lots of paint from Coat and the experience from start to finish has been great. Choice of colours, quality of the product, very speedy responses from the customer service team. DPD let them down a bit with 1 tin arriving damaged and another being delivered to the wrong address, but the team at Coat sorted things on the same day for me. Definitely recommend.

A 5 star service from start to finish. The peel off paint swatches were brilliant and allowed for trying different colours in different places around the room. Having chosen the colour the paint arrived within 2 days. Being new to decorating I found the online tutorials very informative and covered everything I needed to know. Having taken this advice and prepared the walls the application of the matt paint was so easy. The coverage was excellent and I’m delighted with the finished results. I also had very swift responses when dealing with the office, even over the weekend. I am now expecting a delivery of some eggshell to finish the windows and skirting. All in all a very positive experience. A huge thank you to all at COAT.
