So I called up the sales team, spoke to Steve about the condition of a 2000 Harley Roadglide. I was told the bike was in immaculate condition, everything worked, all the gauges still function, the chrome was perfect and the bike rides incredibly well, so considering that, it was also my dream bike plus I needed a vehicle as soon as possible due to being a key worker throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Steve told me that they’d be able to get the vehicle in to the workshop and then to me in two weeks, amazed at this I paid a deposit then sent the money over 2 days later. I didn’t hear from them for 2 weeks, I got in contact and they didn’t know what was happening, after about 3 hours they got back to me and said that my bike will be ready in another 2 weeks time. That came and went, so I gave them another call, I was told it failed the mot because the handles were bent, so they had to order a new part, a week later it passed the MOT then after 4 days of it sitting there they finally decided to send it. Finally received it, the gauges don’t work, the chrome is in TERRIBLE condition and will cost a lot to fix up, the front crashbar was incredibly bent, like the bike was involved in an accident, the cam tensioners haven’t been changed let alone checked, they’re on the brink of collapsing which will completely right off the bike, and will cost £800 - £1500 to replace before they break. The swingarm is loose so the bike would wobble a lot, and the handlebar they put on was also loose so I had to tighten it myself. This would NOT pass an MOT, but because they conducted it they must’ve just put it through, after talking to them about these problems, I wasn’t really given an answer. They offered to take the bike and see what they could do, but after waiting over a month and being lied to before, I can’t really take that chance. I will not be buying from them again and I advise everyone else to stay away, their prices may be reasonable but I don’t advise supporting such a bad company. EDIT: Just had a call from Steve himself, instead of apologising and offering help, he proceeded to yell at me and lie, I could barely get a word in edgewise and it ended with him insulting me and telling me that will make me look like a fool on the google review, DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

Richard (sales), James (handover), and Peter (aftercare) all really friendly throughout my dealings. Hence not a 1-star review. However... Once the deposit was taken, updates were pretty non-existant - I had to chase constantly. The bike had a fair bit of damage which was easily glossed over with the COVID remote video (it's clearly been dropped)... not enough to walk away but also gave me a feeling of dishonesty. Immediately took it to my local Honda dealer for a check and they reported: excessive throttle play, chain too tight, coolant practically empty, and one of the front fork seals leaking. This isn't what I'd expect from a dealer, especially a dangerous fault like a leaking front fork seal. They took 2 weeks to 'prepare' the bike and it still had these faults? £290 to fix. Ritebike agreed to make a contribution to this cost but 5 weeks later haven't done so and are just ignoring my enquiries about it. I used a dealer in preference to a private sale as I thought it would give me better protection against buying something faulty. If I could wind back the clock then I'd either buy privately for less or pay a bit more and use an official manufacturer dealer. Counting my blessings that I didn't come a cropper on the ride from Ritebike with that faulty front seal. Buyer beware.

Bought a bike from them that had been clocked. They didn't tell me. It came with a very old tyre which wasn't fit to be on the road (my fault for not spotting that) I got the bike running fantastic with a new shock and forks refreshed set up lovely. Put 9000 miles on it. Decided to sell it then realized it had far more miles than it had on the clock. Thought that these guys would have it back as they were happy to sell it to me. They offered £1200 but when came to collect insulted me with £400. I believe you can get a good deal here but it's down to good fortune and a desperate biker getting ripped off in the first place. I would avoid like the plague. Buy and sell private. Oh by the way these are we buy any bike if you didn't know. Oh and rite bike don't bother doing your usual auto reply BS because we all know it's utter rubbish

Recently bought a 2009 R1 from rite bike. Excellent service and no dramas. Very patient on the day of collection due to a finance pay out delay but testament to the sales guys and James for keeping me updated and getting it over the line. Very honest from the beginning and a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely go back for another bike. John

Didn't end up buying a bike because of funding problems but had excellent communication from Jonathan answering my queries and explaining lockdown visiting rules if I wanted to come and see the bike I was interested in. When I eventually get funding sorted to exchange my fjr I would definitely Consider Contacting this company again.

After initially receiving great service from the sales team, I proceeded to lay down a deposit on a motorcycle I had viewed online. At this stage I was not informed that this deposit was non refundable. Just two days after laying down the deposit, before I had a chance to visit the showroom I was informed that I will be getting made redundant due to COVID-19 coronavirus. After calling in to explain I will no longer be able to afford the purchase RiteBike showed no compassion and proceeded to retain the deposit. I very much see this as kicking people when they are down. For this reason I will not be using this company in the future.
