My daughter worked with Sara Anderson on college 2nd year Spanish. She is very organized and knowledgeable. She did not waste any time during the sessions. It was all work. My daughter was about to fail her college class which would make her not able to graduate from college. Within a month, her grade was raised a whole percentage point and she passed and is graduating. We can not thank her enough.

My tutor Tara is awesome and helped me raise my grades already. Without Tara I would have dropped out. I currently have an A. The only thing I would change is a better whiteboard. I like being able to print the whiteboard and save to a zip file.

Great website! Easy to find and book tutor. All tutors are checking the website regularly and respond according to their profile time. I think Wyzant has to find a way to ensure their tutors are what they are actually qualified for what they say they can tutor. For example, I found a tutor that says she tutors for GMAT but after meeting with her, she had no clue what she was talking about in terms of the GMAT test procedures, tips and tricks. She was more of a HS tutor.

Wyzant has a clunky and confusing interface, but my experience with a tutor I found through them was second to none. If you can navigate their poor UI, you'll find the perfect tutor.

I was very specific in searching for someone to help my niece with some issues in her robotics course. I wanted a young woman and was so fortunate to find Silvia, a fourth year mechanical engineer student who was open to reviewing my niece’s syllabus. After that she had a conversation with my niece to confirm she would be able to help. She’s been just what was needed.

Tutors are generally good. Gaining their availability can be challenging and the information they post regarding their schedule is sometimes not accurate

This has really worked out well for me. I think it will depend on if a person can find the right tutor, but Wyzant in general is a good way to look. the billing and coordination works well. I would use it again for a different need. I have met with my current tutor about 5 times, and we don't seem to see a stopping point anytime soon.
