This was our second stay in Barbados using Exceptional Villas. Both stays went “exceptionally “ well and preparations were easy and communication excellent. We had one small issue that Paul rectified very quickly and to our satisfaction. We traveled during week 1 of September which is low season and the resort where stayed, Saint Peter’s Bay, was eerily quiet. But we really enjoyed the peacefulness. Exceptional Villas arranges for a starter pack which is always really appreciated. During our other trip earlier in the year, the starter pack was more extensive- included eggs, bacon, fruit and a welcome to Barbados basket. This time it was more basic- milk, water, juice, butter, bread. Either way both were sincerely appreciated. Mentioning this only because I’m not sure what the standards/expectations are for the starter pack. Saint Peters Bay- The staff at SPB were amazing. Our children have extensive food allergies so eating in restaurants is not always possible. Chef Daniel and his team were outstanding. Food was amazing and the staff are well educated on food allergies. In fact, everyone we encountered were awesome. SPB is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views. One comment that is slightly negative is the practice of charging for each extra toilet roll... seems so petty for such a highend resort. The beach is on the small side but this is not uncommon on the west coast. There is a section where you can walk in, with other sections more suited to snorkeling. Great snorkeling right in front of the resort- we saw lots of fish, a stonefish and a snake eel. We also saw the final part of a turtle hatching... so amazing! We did the tour that was included and had a fun few hours swimming with the turtles In the Bay. Great trip! Loved the resort and everything about Barbados! SPB was gorgeous and Exceptional Villas were great to work with.

The people at Exceptional Villas, in particular Sean and Noreen, were a pleasure to deal with. Noreen was so on the ball with every detail, and she handled everything efficiently and effectively. Exceptional villas have been extremely helpful in booking our recent holiday to Barbados. From recommending the villa - which turned out to be a wonderful place for our family - to chasing a late taxi to the airport for us , Julie has been an invaluable help to us. She liaised with the villa staff for us and relayed our many dietary requests and also booked hire cars and restaurants. It really is an all inclusive service and we would (and already have!) recommended them to friends. Indeed we hope to book again next year.

Old Trees, situated in Paynes Bay encapsulates Barbados hospitality at it's finest! A truly relaxing experience from start to finish. Great friendly staff and excellent customer service

We visited the Villa Carlota on St. John, US Virgin Island. This house was the most beautiful place we have ever visited. The view was breathtaking and there was a perfect view from every space in the entire house. It overlooks one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Trunk Bay, which was only a couple minutes away from the house. The property manager was courteous and full of really cool information about the island. The inside of the property was perfect and spacious. So many beautiful little details in the house with a little bit of history behind each one. Each room had it's own restroom, patio and beautiful view! By far, one of the most amazing vacations we have ever taken! Worth every penny!

This was my first time booking a Villa and using Exceptional Villas. Niamh provided information on different villas on numerous islands within my criteria and price as we were flexible to the location. We choose Fosters House on Barbados and could not have been happier. Julie arranged VIP entry, roundtrip transfers and answered my many questions quickly. She even answered a question while we were in Barbados on vacation. I was a little nervous dealing with a company in Ireland, for a Villa in Barbados and myself being in the US, but it all worked without a glitch. Fosters House was perfect for us ( 5 adults and 3 children), the pool and beach are gorgeous. Claire, Catherine, Anthea keep the house running smoothly, are pleasant, helpful and a joy to have assist us while on vacation. We had a wonderful experience in St Lucia. The company was most helpful was beginning to end. The villa was beyond our expectations and the staff were perfect. Our ages were from 3 to 64, there were 10 of us and there was so much space. We would highly recommend this kind of accommodation.

I use this group every year since 2011. Yvonne and Julie have time after time helped me find the best villas for my trips. They are professional and efficient like no other. Of course something has to go wrong in 8 years of travel.... and it did... twice. Completely out of their control. One time some personal items were stolen from the beach in front of our villa, Yvonne provided all assistance and support coordinating with local property manager helping me with police report and next day I had a $250 dinner voucher to my favorite local restaurant. I mean she didn’t have to do that... this guys are very good when things are going smooth but they are great when sh...t hits the fan too! I recommend them 100%

Julie was so helpful and readily available. She handled everything from airport pick-up, to dinner reservations, to booking excursions. She answered all of our many questions with ease. Our family vacation in Barbados was wonderful. The location of Old Trees on the beach is superb! We stayed in Halcyon on the bottom floor with our own plunge pool, lovely patio and just a few quick steps to the beach. Halcyon is not a brand new, up to-date condo. It could use a few updates but the location and gorgeous view override the interior of the condo. Margaret was our cook and Jackie was the housekeeper. They took great care of us. Margaret makes the best fried flying fish! Adrian was the grounds keeper and he was absolutely delightful! Always had a smile on his face, always there to help in any way.

This was my first time booking a Villa and using Exceptional Villas. The staff provided helpful information on locations to consider and working with property managers to accommodate my large group of 7. The team of Niamh, Elaine, and Noreen have all been warm personalities and track things down and follow through. In addition, the concierge services have been a great time saver as well as informative. Noreen has been extremely responsive and attentive to our requests and even negotiating improved deals with vendors. Having the printed itinerary with all things scheduled in advance will make the logistics much easier and vacation more relaxing. We have not been to the Villa yet, our vacation starts in a few days. Hopefully the Villa meets the expectations provided by the website pictures and description. The only recommendation at this point would be to have a map offered of the surrounding areas of the villa and key destination points to help in the decision making.

It was very easy to work with Exceptional Villas. They arranged everything we requested, and were very helpful. They were quick to respond to all our questions. We would definitely book through them again.
