Our experience with Exceptional Villas was…Exceptional. We had splurged and booked a 5 star hotel for three weeks in Barbados, our first vacation in 3 years due to the pandemic. Unfortunately, despite the positive reviews, the hotel was clearly struggling and our stay was a complete disaster from start to finish. We were exhausted from dealing with all the problems and frustrated with poor hotel management. In tears, I placed a desperate call to Exceptional Villas to try an find alternative last minute accommodation for the rest of our stay, not expecting much. And that’s when we began to love Barbados! From our first contact with Aofie, she made us feel that we were in excellent hands and she might be able to help. Within minutes she had reached out, found us several immediate options, and had us booked into a stunning villa for less than we had been paying at the hotel. Aofie arranged a quick meeting with local contact Sandy and the professionalism and helpfulness continued. Everything from that moment on was perfect. The property was clean, beautiful and an outstanding location in Holetown. The staff were lovely and responsive. Everyone we dealt with was great; we especially appreciated Aofie’s quick response, understanding our needs, and immediate resolution to salvage the rest of our Barbados vacation. We would 💯 use the services of Exceptional Villas at this and other properties again.

I had a lot of worries about booking a villa for a large group of friends. It can be intimidating, making sure that the space is appropriate for the group, and making sure you're not falling for an online scam! I was drawn to Exceptional Villas because of their generally great reviews, and they did not disappoint. The villa exceeded our expectations, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the communication was largely clear and direct. This is the place to go if you are ready to have the trip of a lifetime!

Aoife Walsh and Marianne Wiley were both very knowledgeable and prompt on providing information about the lodging, logistics and island in general. Both were also very personable and made an effort to remember personal details about me.

Typically once you make a reservation, that’s it. However. Once we made our reservation at smugglers cove, Barbados the attention just began. Bless Rowena for making sure that we had reservations , the best table at each restaurant, the kindest chef ( Andre. Who is such an incredible chef that we cancelled our reservations!) and laundry pressed. Not our first time at an incredible resort but honestly they could write the manual. Thank you.

Excellent I loved the whole experience

The whole team at Exceptional Villas was amazing. In recent years I got so used to booking all our travel by myself that originally I didn't think I'll even need to use someone to book our 30th anniversary trip to Turks and Caicos. But, since I got the referral from a friend, I decided to give it a shot. This ended up saving our trip in multiple ways. For a start, having someone who knows the destination helped us find the right hotel for our budget and interests. In addition, getting the proper recommendations for additional activities at the destination was more helpful than I originally thought. But, the most important thing was an unexpected one. Just after we checked in to our flight, a hurricane situation in the area prevented us from going on the original date. The team at exceptional villas immediately jumped in and took care of all our needs to rebook the trip to a later date, re-booking dinner reservations, etc. This kind of service is something we don't get to see these days when everything is done by a computer or an algorithm. Having a team of humans to interact with, that has a face and a name, was amazing and made this anniversary celebration trip an absolute success.
