After problems trying to access my pension under the new rules I contacted unbiased.com and was given the name of a financial advisor in my area. James arranged a home visit. He was very pleasant, courteous, efficient etc. I would not hesitate to recommend this service to anyone with questions about finances.

Life insurance broker from enduralife almost force me to buy life insurance now, without reading terms and conditions. he said "you can cancel this policy later if you don't like it". Not good, not professional, below any of my expectations, this service can't be promoted by government?!

I found the experience very helpful. The advisor was friendly and non-judgemental. I think the best advice was provided and the advisor took some pains to discuss my situation with colleagues and get back to me with further thoughts. Honest and helpful advice given.

Unfortunately not a good experience. It was approx three weeks after my initial call that an advisor contacted me. He said he was calling me about pensions which is not what I had asked for.

I'm glad I chose Trustpilot to find a financial advisor for the advise I needed. It didn't take long for someone to get back to me, who had the knowledge to help me with my queries.

Immediate response from the website with introductions and the firm i approached Derwent F P Derby have been super helpful so far. Still awaiting outcome of initial enquiries but ao far thoroughly pleased with the service. Andy could not have been more helpful and look forwars to working with him in the fiture. Jackie

He made a very prompt response to my initial email request for a financial adviser. He arrived on time; was very polite and explained everything appropriate to my level of understanding. I agreed at the meeting for him to take charge of my financial affairs

The FA who contacted me, Michael Woollard has been excellent. He has been very helpful, responded promptly and proactively.

Aviva advised me that i should take financial advice regarding what i wish to do with my pension pot, Aviva advised that i go to a website called Unbiased, this i did. When you go onto this website it asks for your email address, phone number and postcode. From this you should get an email or phone call from advisers in your area, what i got was a call from a firm based in London and they were not interested in assisting me in any way and advised me that i had everything in place with Aviva. From what Aviva advised me i should have really received advice from advisers in my area and if i needed i could have paid for any further advice. On the basis of what and how my experience went i feel best i can rate this is by giving a 2 and no more, as i did not get the advice i thought i would.

The help I got was brilliant. I am having trouble with Now Pensions, I have been increasing my contributions first to 3%, next to 5% and now currently 10%. I have evidence of all payments on my wage slip. But on my on-line pension account it states that I have only contributed £162.00, when I know there should be at least £500.00 in my pension account. I have followed your advice registered my complaint 8 weeks ago, keep asking for a statement of what is in my account. I will be sending the evidence to you of all correspondence and would like you to investigate this on my behalf please . Thank you Jenny Myles

To difficult to meet with someone so far away

My previous experience of financial advisors left me thinking their only mission was to set me up with a half-wit for an hour and then sell me something with the biggest commission.... This company were the complete opposite. Very knowledgeable on every topic we discussed, speaking with experience and no pressure to buy anything. Very happy with the service and advice provided.
