I want a Finacial Adviser that takes his commission from the profits he has earnt for me. I don't mind if we split the profits up to 60/40. What I do object to is Advisers wanting to take up to 5% upfront of a £500,000 portfolio I.e 25 grand before they have done a thing.

I got the call back on the same day I made my request which was a good start. As I was only dealing with a small amount a phone chat told me what I needed to know but I was assured that if I needed any further help I could phone back at any time.

We applied online to speak to an independent pension advisor. The next morning we were duly contacted by Nick Manning of Finance Shop, Lowestoft branch. He was very helpful and informative and explained to me about the pension rule changes coming up in April. He needed to check a couple of points and came back to me promptly. So far his service has been excellent.
