I received a call from Nick Hanson who provided first class advice

I was quickly phoned by my nearest FA who left his contact details with me. I said that I did not need any advice at the moment as I am waiting for other information to come, but I will contact him when I do. He has phoned again once, which was unnecessary, but not again. All OK so far.

The advisor who contacted me was extremely helpful and professional. They provided a straightforward and succinct answer to my question. They did offer further services if I needed them, but without any pressure. Very pleased.

I was given one advisor only. Now this may be all there is in a certain radius of my home but without recourse to me that firm had already been contacted and, in turn, contacted me within 30 seconds! This meant that there was no opportunity to get papers together or even gather my thoughts and thus the "free" phone call consisted of making an appointment. The advisor sounds very competent and I look forward to seeing him. Not sure were " friction" comes in in rating this service

Iam going through a very messy and painful divorce and worried of where to put my new pension half my ex husbands police pension;) When and if I ever receive the settlement ?? The website was easy to use, the reviews of the various independent financial advisors were helpful and, having chosen a local one that had good customer reviews, I was contacted within an hour of filling in my on-line request. Furthermore, a polite and helpful young man rang me yesterday to suggest that I also contact another advisor in my area for comparison purposes. I agreed with his advice and a short time later was contacted by the second advisor. I am thrilled with the ease and speed provided by this website.

The advice given was ok only. It was no more than anyone with reasonable care could access on-line and /or careful reading of the paper. When challenged about a recent article, accessed on line about income drawdown the advisor was a little taken aback that I had any knowledge

I was very pleased with the Pensions advisor that promptly came to my house to propose the policies he had to offer. He give me a thorough insight into up to date pension matters explaining all the risks and benefits each policy had to offer. Will look forward to the proposal he will have compiled come February,I will then have a clear understanding of my remaining working years regards pension contributions & what I might come to expect in my retirement years before it is too late!
