Quick efficient and friendly service!

I ordered a watch with a leather strap, however as soon as I opened the box I could see the watch wasn't for me (I wont go into detail why as I would just come across as a disgruntled customer) I took the watch out of the box and merley placed it on my wrist but did not wrap the strap around my wrist or fasten the strap. I then returned the watch (this process was easy enough) to be told they would be deducting money from my refund as the watch has been worn! I explained that this was not the case, however they would not have it and refused to give me a full refund! I asked for the policy on this and yes it does state on the website that if a watch is worn they will deduct from the refund. However this should have been made more clear upon purchase as I would have not even have taken the watch out of the box given how they have been, and that would be my advice to anyone purchasing a watch from them who are unsure if they want to keep it. Its a shame I have had this bad experience with them, and give this negative review, as if you are reading this you will be fully aware that they make some wonderfully designed and quirky watches. Just dont take the watch out of the box if you are thinking of sending it back and expecting a full refund.

I would have preferred a slightly larger watch but I knew from the specs how it would look. My wrist is 17cm circumference. Having said that, I hoped and was confirmed correct that the bigger lu to lug size would make the watches wear well. I chose a “perfectly useless morning” and “ricochet”. Ricochet hit the spot immediately! The gold foil, the composition and the movement are just so good. I’ll wear it as a dress watch at an upcoming theatre fundraiser-perfect! It took a day to really appreciate “perfectly useless”. Seemed a bit dark and static but the more I wore it the more I understood and appreciated it. Peace, quiet, reflective. I live in Melbourne Australia and postage was well priced and quick. Keep up the great work!

I ordered a mechanical beam me up watch with the stainlessSteel strap. It arrived within a few days and it's beautiful. The strap needed adjustment, so we took it into the shop in covent garden. The staff were friendly and adjusted it in no time. Only downside for me is that my wife wears it all the time!

Amazing watch, best gift ever!

A high quality experience. My son chose a watch himself for his 21st birthday and the reality was at least as good as the images. The custom engraving service added that special touch and the watch was sent quickly and well packaged. It has been a pleasure to buy a quality item from a British company.
