Have hired many cars in NZ and Australia , the experience with Sunset would be the best by far we have had to date. Excellent clean car , very nice . Simple, easy to deal with and very friendly , will certainly be using them again on our next visit to the Sunshine Coast .

Friendly staff and great rental price! Their business process is out of the norm where they do not have a brick and mortar counter situated at the Airport. It was quite mind blowing at first especially for international travelers like myself where I will need to make a phone call to reach their staff in order to get the renal car. However, these steps are not hard to follow and I personally don't mind, and I am thankful that they really trust their customers. I hope that Sunset Rent a Car will add more cars in their fleet with other brands and models.

Even though sunset don’t have a desk at the airport, the whole process of pick up and drop off was seamless. Mark was very professional and friendly. Car was great. No complaints!

I had a great experience from booking to returning the car. The car was in great condition - didnt have any issues on its performance at all. The staff who handled my rental at Scarborough beach was excellent - in fact I felt he was dedicated to his job like an owner entrepreneur would! Only point on improvement would be on GPS satnav gadget offered - it does turn off when the external sun rays heat it up and being 'Garmin' it doesnt locate well. My suggestion would be to offer a mobile phone holster on the dashboard as one can opt to use google maps to navigate.
