United States | 04 September 2021The internet at the RV park is hit or miss. Every single day I have to sign in multiple times with the sign in I created when I bought the supposedly better internet for $35 a month. Sometimes when I am trying to download something it is less than 10kbs. Ridiculous! I was told by the park manager that paying for internet meant faster and more reliable internet. Nope! I don't think I am going to pay any more. Just take my chances with the crappy free internet provided by the park from this company.

United States | 03 September 2021Russell was awesome to work with. He was very knowledgeable about my situation and patient as I am not computer savvy so he waited patiently while I followed his guidance. Russell is surely an asset to your company.

United States | 31 August 2021I was forced to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding poor service from Tengo internet and their continued failure to provide adequate internet service. In a response to me from Tengo issued through the BBB dated July 27, 2021, Tengo claimed that they were repairing/replacing equipment within a week of July 27. As of August 30, 2021, the Tengo is as poor as ever and I have to call about three times a week when internet service fails. This company has only paid lip service to their product failure and, therefore, I strongly advise anyone to seek more reliable companies for internet service. Tengo is unresponsive to customer complaints and fails to provide their service.

United States | 29 August 2021The service is intermittent at best. I called on Friday morning because the internet kept coming in and out. They told me that a tower at the site next to me was down and they would report it. I waited couple of hours and was able to complete my urgent task of sending an email to my church congregation. A little later it was back to the same thing. internet access one minute and none the next minute. It continued into saturday.

United States | 19 August 2021Hi there Thank you for letting me write a review. Basically I am staying in an RV spot about 2/3 the way down a camp facility in Long Beach Washington called Pacific sunrise resort. They advertise Wi-Fi on the website available here. Upon checking I've learned that the Wi-Fi is not included or free and that you need to pay about $11 for one week of access. It is what it is and it's disappointing to have to pay for Wi-Fi especially considering your paying $60 for night for an RV spot but it is what it is. Upon paying for the site RV Wi-Fi access I then discovered that the signal is so low and so weak I almost can't get on the internet let alone do anything on the internet. Apparently this particular RV park only has one cell phone tower at the entry area office and it is not strong enough to reach down just beyond even the halfway point of the spaces to allow for the Wi-Fi to work. You will not know this of course until you purchase the Wi-Fi and go to use it. I would like to suggest that the people that read these reviews suggest to the park managers to please please please install either some boosters or additional towers or something to carry the signals throughout the park so you actually can use Wi-Fi in your particular spot. I don't think this is a lot to ask because otherwise you literally have to walk down five or 600 ft from your spot and sit in a laundry room to use the Wi-Fi which I think is pretty old-fashioned and unacceptable especially since you have to pay for it separately beyond your spots here. This is not a whining or a complaint but a strong suggestion for the park to please get up to speed with the most basic of technology. So if anybody is reading this or passes this along please tell the owners and managers at the Pacific sunrise RV resort Park in Long Beach Washington to do additional work for Wi-Fi connectivity. United States | 17 August 2021Customer service was awesome when I called. I did, however, continue to experience being dropped while using the free version. I just signed up for the 1 week trial of the paid version. I've been connected for about 15 minutes without interruption. This is the best Wi-Fi I have ever experienced in an RV Park. Overall, I am very happy.

United States | 04 August 2021They charged my credit card twice. Although both of the charges were “pending”. Eventually, one of them posted, and 2 weeks later, the second charge came off of “pending” and not charged. So it was all good. However, I never received a response from my 3 emails including the one attached to this email. So, all I saw was they were going to charge me twice and I wanted to know why. Very poor communication

United States | 02 August 2021This is my second review for Tengonet. The first one was about not being able to connect using their service at this campground. I was pleased the problem was resolved after I wrote the review and amended by review to reflect the changes. Now for the past 4 or so days the speed for Tengonet has been beyond super slow. This morning at 5am the speed was .48 mbps download and .15 mbps uploud. It's not usable with speeds that slow. I contacted support to tell them about the slow speeds the other day, when they were 1.07 dl and .89 up. I heard from Tengonet support after a whole day and night of waiting. This was their reply to the situation. "Yes, the speeds at this park are 2/1 mbps, so it seems like based on the speeds you are getting the best speeds possible for this park itself." Not sure what was meant by 2/1 mbps. If she meant 2.1, we aren't even close to that. I did tell them I would be letting others know how bad the speed is when I review them. I use a Verizon jetpack when Tengonet has issues but I prefer Tengonet because it was cheaper to use. Now I know why. My jetpack gives me 3.33 dl and 3.53 up. When the speeds are so slow, it's too frustrating to keep using. We won't be paying for this service again. I rather pay for something that works for us. 8/2/21: Update: We have no internet now. This isn't unusual because it happens from time to time. Hopefully they are trying to fix the slow speeds and the woman who told me that 2 to 1 mbps is what they give the campground isn't correct. We can only hope! 8/2/21:Update: Well as usual you didn't read my whole comment. As of this morning the speeds were much less than what you said we had here and now the internet isn't working. I'm using my Jetpack to do this review. You might want to find out why I have no internet as I stated and the speeds so low I can't do a thing online. Not even close to 1 mbps. I'm really not going to talk to anyone on the phone anymore. It's your tower probably. Also I'm a guest at this campground and maybe the speed should be posted what is offered at your campgrounds where you provide the service. I would not have paid for a month knowing the speeds were so slow. Half the time either we don't have internet, or we get kicked off, or it's too slow to do anything. I say this time Tengonet is a fail. Done, stick a fork in me. 8/02/21 Update: I will not have a phone conversation with Tengonet because I'm not willing to do a thing on my end anymore. I'm computer literate enough to know it's not on my end but it's your problem. I don't need to do anything with my computer. So at this time there is no internet at Site A44 Southlake RV Park in Knoxville Tn. That should be enough information to either have it working consistently, or give me a refund. I'm paid up until the 26th I believe. That should be plenty of information to figure out what the issue is. When it was working, we were not getting 2 mbsp download. It wasn't close. Update 8/2/21 As you probably can tell, I'm frustrated with the service from Tengonet. We have been using it on and off for quite some time. At one time this campground offered free wifi. No more. Now that we have to pay for it, we expect better service and I would think others would feel the same. I do read the reviews for your company and there are a lot of similar complaints. I emailed more than once with service and you should have a history file for me and all my information. Clearly I asked to communicate through email due to being hearing impaired. I did tell support that. Now to make it seem like you can't help me because I can't talk on the phone, well I expected that much. We are back online "now" but when I complained about the speed and not being able to get online or stay online, I got the run around. You want to keep coming back and doing replies here, isn't how you do it. You had my email address when I emailed support several times. I am not a satisfied customer. Just because finally we are back online doesn't mean Tengonet did a good job at it. I don't expect to stay online. Update: 8/20/21 You received my info, and coming back here claiming you didn't receive my info is false. As you said in your last reply, "We're unable to verify your account from other guests we've assisted at the property." On my third 8/2 update, I posted my site number. That should have been enough to verify my account from the other guests. Your replies are showing others what kind of service you get with Tengonet. My month I paid for is almost over with. You can bet I won't be paying for another month. Being kicked off the internet often isn't my idea of good service. Very slow speeds isn't my idea of good service. Don't bother replying again how you can't get in touch with me. It doesn't look good for your company, Tengointernet team.

United States | 30 July 2021Called with a question on how to get back to the account "landing" page I originally was on when first accessing the park's wifi. That question was answered easily and the tech stayed on the phone with me and then assisted me with setting up additional devices. While this may seem like it's his job to do, he was personable and knowledgeable. One of the few positive interactions I've had with customer service!
