The downlightsdirect Aurora I9 LED downlights were expensive but are very high quality. They arrived promptly and were well packaged with full instructions. They run cool, are easy to install, and are well manufactured. I have since purchased more from the same company. Highly recommended. As an aside, I previously ordered from ledlights.co.uk but returned the items because they looked cheap and the instructions were suspiciously incomplete. I have since discovered it's not possible to leave bad feedback about ledlights.co.uk!

Easy to order from. I liked the pull-down options for lamps and colour options when ordering up separate-part downlights. I also found the technical detail (eg cut-out-diameter and height etc) to be easily available, unlike some other sites, and also direct links manufacturers data sheet .pdf's and information videos are very handy. A web-site for someone who cares about what they fit. Nicely done.

Excellent service and quick delivery for infra-red light switch, little issue with cable alignment hence the 4 stars, but item works fine and has renovated a £480 bathroom cabinet for little outlay so very pleased.

Overall a good experience, but as an amature I needed more information, eg. I discovered after my order arrived that I needed an extra driver for my LED's due to the cable run. I would have liked to know this when placing my original order. That said, the prices were competetive, the products are really good quality and there is a good choice. Finally it would be nice to get some idea of delivery and an acknowledgement of dispatch.

Had some LED downlights installed in my bathroom by an Electrician, the lights were not IP rated and the one closest to the shower failed twice within a couple of weeks, and I didn't like the cold blue lighting effect. Rang Downlights Direct, they were very helpful and explained the Kelvin rating for LED and why the lights appeared so blue, recommended trying a 4000k instead of 6000k I had. I ordered 4 IP and fire rated lights which arrived at 10.00am the next day packaged very well........ and I love them. Thanks Graig

Have used this company a number of times, the service & delivery is always as expected.

I needed to replace all the halogen down lighters in the upstairs of my house to fire rated lights. Why? Because the existing one's weren't; my loft insulating was threadbare and I wanted to board the loft to create storage. A quick Google search found Down lights Direct and I what I required on 11 June. Two days later they arrived, all nicely packaged and I got several text messages from their delivery system offering me options to delay delivery, deliver to a neighbour etc. So easy to buy and easy to deliver and although I haven't changed the lights over yet (job for the weekend) but I have opened a few boxes of my delivery and all looks good. They have the convenience of an online store but the personal touch of having a phone line that is answered by someone who has knowledge of what they are selling. Free delivery and lightening fast service. I would certainly use them again.

Wanted LED spots for the lounge makeover. These guys had a good range. I wanted some fixed and some directional... Also had to be Phillips LED's for me. Placed order and despatch was prompt - good email updates through the process too. Wouldn't hesitate to order from these guys again.
