I've used Honey's previously with two of my Boxers. We haven't had a dog for over two and half years but have become pawrents to a Boxer puppy. I just knew he would love Honey's and when his first order arrived he was so excited. He eats every scrap and while you're getting it ready he's so excited jumping in mid air and spinning around. Honey's is a wonderful food to feed your pets and the company are so very helpful no matter how small your concerns area they will advise and help all they can. Thank you Honey's for making a young Boxer (12 weeks old) a very happy chappie and thank you for all your help in transitioning him onto your food (which was very easy). Quality is outstanding. I would say it is the best raw food in the market. Free-range, Organic and wild. The company cares about the suppliers and customers. Very honest company. I would say, you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

What really amazes me is that 1% of the reviews did not give 5 stars. Perhaps those people were really having a bad day, because to be absolutely honest I cannot think of one negative thing to say! If you really love your dog and are able to manage raw feeding within your time schedule, storage and budget then this food is what you give them.I have four rescue dogs who came from suspect backgrounds. One in particular came from a puppy farm in Wales, so awful that it was featured on the BBC Wales programme as one of the worst. That being said these dogs are now thriving. It was my groomer who recommended Honey's to me and her vet who recommended them to her, so you see good news travels fast and word of mouth is a great tool and an appropriate one for food!. The food smells fresh, wholesome and one dog in particular, a bolognese had bad skin, but not any more.Also and this is just as important the staff support the customer. They are really interested and on one occasion were almost like the dog Samaritans after I had had a really awkward day with one of the dogs. To some people that might seem silly but I can assure you that it wasn't. Their website is useful, full of advice and information and the quarterly newsletter is something I look forward to with relish. The company has high ethical and environmental standards. They support charities and offer incentives to encourage donations to animal welfare causes. I recommend Honeys to people on a regular basis. Sadly some people cannot get over the word 'raw', but I can assure you that your cat or dog will not have a problem with that vocabulary. In caring for my canine friends this is probably the very best thing I have done, providing Honey's REAL dog food. Helen Watkins

I ordered Honey’s food for my 9 month old Bouvier, as he was becoming an unmanageably picky eater, a very common breed trait. However, from the get go, and it has been 4 days now, it has been clear bowls at every single meal. This is highly unusual for him, and I am very impressed by not only the quality of the food, but the sheer wealth of knowledge they provided me with upon ordering. You receive a welcome pack with free treats, a copy of the founder’s book on raw feeding and a huge variety of other information- it sounds extensive, but it’s broken down and written so well that you enjoy it,- and even a week’s free supply of food! I know for a fact that this will be our regular food from now on. I am so unbelievably impressed! Thanks Honey’s for your great food and exceptional service. If you’re thinking of ordering, just do it! You won’t be disappointed.

My dog has been on Honey’s for the last six years, and I only go to the vet for his yearly jab. For the first year of his life he was getting loose stools and ear infections. I did my research into raw meat and contacted Honey’s. I have never met such a dedicated team of expert dog lovers. Their expertise and the patient way they explain things are truly unique, and My little Lhasa Apso Buddy is as happy as Larry on his Honey’s diet!! The food is of such high quality and their ethos is amazing. I love how they buy and support small local farmers and you can tell that all they care about is the product they sell and providing the best for your pet. They will always offer advice and help even if you are not a customer. They also always have competitions going and constantly giving out prizes!! I will never go to any other dog food

I have been buying Honey’s dog food for years. It’s excellent. Empty plate every time I feed so I reckon my dogs love it too. The older one, at a blood test was found to have blood for a much younger dog and my vet loved my younger dog; healthy, fit and lean yet cuddly Turner, so much I almost lost him to her. Honey’s is a wonderful friendly company with brilliant service.

My dog loves the food way more than another raw food brand. She’s normally a fussy eater, but she’s never been so excited to eat her meals. Also, the customer service is exceptional! They go above and beyond to make sure you’re a happy customer.

I couldn’t be happier with the quality of Honey’s food . I was recommended them through my dog trainer and I’ve not been disappointed. The quality of Honey's is second to none. My dogs absolutely love it and I love that they care about the welfare of the animals that go into their food. There is a good choice of protein available and even a veg free range. The customer service and advice given is fantastic and I have always found them very helpful. Our dog is now three years old and has been on Honeys since she was around 9 months of age. The food was recommended by our holistic vet, which immediately put my mind at ease using them. Honeys offer quite a few varieties such as meat only, meat and veg and leaner options (surprisingly turkey is very high fat) plus full organic versions. We have used most of these at various times apart from the organic. The standard range is pasture fed and they really do care about animal welfare of the meat they use. With our first order we received a book about raw feeding and a booklet with all their policies on what they use. I personally think this is important. My dog is important, but the welfare of the animals going into her diet is equally as important for two reasons - firstly, there is much wisdom in the statement "you are what you eat". So simply feeding raw without the confidence that the quality of the meat is excellent is not really ideal. Secondly, I would not want to support farmers that do not care about the welfare of their stock. A duck needs a pond to splash about in... it is only a natural thing for them to enjoy during their short life and Honeys have stated that such things are a requirement for a supplier. I regularly recommend Honeys to locals I meet in the park. Honeys have always been very helpful with nutritional advice and have answered many questions for me. I was very disappointed when a friend I recommended to them recently did not receive the service I had raved about. In fact, she has still not had a call to discuss her needs and now thinks I am balmy. I just can't knock the service I have had. Please keep up the good work and both your standard of support and quality of food. It would be so sad to lose that.

I have a fussy bedlington cross pug and have agonised so much over the right food. Having tried so many brands I am so glad to be using this company. They are wonderful to deal with and I know Clover is enjoying good quality food. Thank you.

My dog loves this food, to be fair he's a lab so will anything but he does have a dodgy tummy and this is perfect for him. No sloppy poos, shiny coat and a lovely wet nose which dried out and cracked before using honeys. Slightly more expensive but it's absolutely worth the money. Excellent staff and eco friendly packaging. Prompt delivery and all round brilliant.

We have been using Honey’s real dog food for 4 1/2 months after being recommended by a family member. We had already made our transition to raw food with our puppy a couple of months prior but she sometimes wouldn’t agree with some types of raw. I phoned and spoke with a lovely team member who couldn’t have been more helpful and helped me to pick what was right for my puppy. As pepper is a Miniature Dachshund and was so small she helped me calculate the right amount to feed her. Pepper is now 7 months old and enjoying every meal with Honey’s. I love Honey’s ethos and all recyclable packaging and helpful staff and it’s an all round fantastic company! I will continue to be a passionate customer of honey’s and will recommend to everyone I can as I truly believe they want what’s best for the dog and the customer! Honeys have been amazing! My cavachon was having a poorly tummy putting him in the vets constantly, now he's been on Honeys for about 6 months and nothing. There advice is top notch,I wouldn't trust my dog to eat anything else! Thank you doesn't cover it! My mums puppy is eating it too and she loves it! Both dogs scoffing mainly every meal and a great price too! Very happy 😊

We have a small, particularly fussy dog (cavapoochon — even her title is fussy). We tried Honey's, and for a few days she loved it — then the novelty wore off and we went back to trying a bit of everything. I called them, and later that day a dog health expert from Honey's called me back. 45 mins on the phone. Very knowledgeable, very helpful, free service...We did as she said, and now our fussy small dog, growls at us morning and night if we haven't put her Honey's out on time. Magic. No more junk. Good routine, and measured quantities. Can not recommend highly enough — definitely worth calling for advice before ordering.
