Ordered paving slabs from this supplier as they were the only one offering to split the manufacturer's standard pack into a smaller quantity. Very nice people to deal with, but there were delays in getting a revised quote from them and I was miffed to learn the price had increased since receiving the original quote. After the order was placed, I was informed the product would be delivered directly by their supplier. Having chased up delivery, I was given a delivery date which was not met (a day wasted). No alternative date was provided and it was by sheer chance that a delivery truck arrived unannounced just as my wife and I were leaving the house to go out. Whilst the delivery problems could be attributed to Paving Superstore's supplier my contract was with Paving Superstore and they could have been much more proactive in communicating with me and managing the delivery process.

Avoid this firm like the plague, they are rip of merchants. I ordered 1 small pallet of coping stone but ordered the wrong item, when wanting to return the goods , as is my right to do so under the consumer act I was informed that I would need to cover the cost of pick up and restocking charge, and was quoted almost £200> i questioned why it was this high and was told it covering their direct costs but this was a lie. The manufacturers sent an email to show the true cost of pick up to be £35 and restocking costs 20% which i assumed would be 20% of the wholesale price> I paid £550 , when checking other suppliers the same item was less than £350 so assuming the wholesale price to be less than £300 the restock cost would be less than £60. When disputing with Bruce the company director, he lies through his teeth , so if I where you dont order from this company, read the reviews from genuine disgruntle reviewers on here, they over charge for goods and for returns.

I tried to order a tub of paving mortar, VDW800. Having searched the internet about this product, PavingSuperstore's site popped up with a detailed instruction sheet on how to use it, so I followed the link to their website, chose the colour I wanted and placed the order. This was £108, so not a cheap tub of filler from a local DIY store. There were no product details in the order confirmation so I had to trust the right product was being processed but, when the product arrived the next day, it was VDW 840, not the one I was expecting. I rejected delivery, the mortar went back with the same courier and I emailed PavingSuperstore straight afterwards to let them know I’d returned it. The company replied soon after and stated that they only sell VDW 840 and, sure enough, in the small print it does state that, so I accept I should have been more diligent in exhaustively checking the product I’d bought. However, since then (now 2 weeks later) all I’ve received is a series of emails saying they are waiting for return courier costs, restocking costs and details of any other charges the supplier (note, not PavingSuperstore) may impose before they can determine what refund I may be due. Frustrated at the lack of progress I phoned PavingSuperstore today and was told that there was nothing more that could be done, there was no-one I could escalate to as apparently it was the Managing Director who’d been answering all my emails, and when I repeated my question about why it was taking so long to process a simple refund, the support team person I was talking to said she had already answered that, couldn’t tell me any more and put the phone down on me. From other reviews it seem that if all goes well customers have been happy with the service, but beware if anything goes slightly awry ! For me, 2 weeks after my returned delivery, I have no product, am currently sitting £108 out of pocket, have no idea whatsoever how much I may get returned and now know there is zero point contacting PavingSuperstore again.

Received the item earlier than expected. Unfortunately it did not match the description of our order. Contacted Paving Superstore for assistance, Sam was very helpful and after sending some photos, confirmed that the item would be changed. All sorted and exchange done within 2 weeks of order being placed. Fantastic customer service

Absolutely diabolical customer service I ordered 5 crates of limestone paving slabs from paving superstore and one crate had 22 damaged large slabs. I contacted the company within 24 hours and took pictures of the slabs. On opening the other crates there were 15 further broken slabs, again I contacted the company to inform them that I would need a refund. Luckily I had ordered more than the required amount to complete the job. However, the response from paving superstore was to send more pictures as the haulier had been involved, why this was, I do not know, as I had not ordered the slabs from him. I felt as if my integrity was under scrutiny and that I was made to feel like I was lying about the amount of damaged slabs. It is a shame how disappointing the customer service is as the finished patio is beautiful and the limestone is perfect. I am still waiting on a response from Sheree and her MD in this matter which is now over 2 weeks. The cost per crate was approximately £500, which in view of the service I feel should be fully refunded. Dreadful customer service.

To be honest I panicked after ordering and then reading the reviews! I absolutely could not fault them. Twice, I’ve had wonderful telephone service from Sheree. Nothing was too much trouble; from calculating how much stone we needed and what packs to split to allow for our garden step sizes to be fulfilled, to resending confirmation email within seconds of requesting it after changing our minds and finally ordering something completely different than she had quoted for originally! Outstanding customer service Sheree, thank you. Delivery within 5 working days. Palettline emailed and texted to arrange delivery. Delivery was perfectly on time with a driver who went to great lengths to ensure that our paving was safely stored within our front garden rather than curb side. Marvellous; highly recommended!

Wrong slabs have delivered and refused to return: I ordered £3399 values of slabs, when they arrived I found that they are 'very dark brown' colour but I have ordered are 'yellow' colour. I have been contact with them more than one week until now, customer service said that they are correct colour: 'Because of the sun shine manufacture took the picture, the colour is looking lighter so I think it's yellow, the colour is different from every device!' She also blames me that I have to order a sample firstly then I place the order. If I want them to return, I have to pay the cost! The product code/SKU I ordered is 'POP20VO', but they delivered the slab's product code/SKU is 'EPWL20VO'. Do you think they are the same slabs? I'm still waiting for their MD to rely me and I will update my experience. I will consider a legal action if they can't solve my problem.

Wouldn't even give 1 star. After numerous calls and been given 3 delivery dates, today being the 'definite delivery' day, we still have not had our order. They're now saying 'definitely Monday'. Nearly £400 worth of paving! We completely understand there are delays considering the current climate, but we pre-ordered back in April for a delivery in May and it is now July. Not good enough and bad communication between the company and couriers.
