I got what I thought was a great deal on many book titles for only 15 cents a piece only to receive an email saying my order won’t be fulfilled due to pricing error on there part and any book affected won’t be shipped. So all the books I was excited to get I won’t be. They then threw me a crappy $10 off coupon to say sorry. Any reputable company would honour their pricing error. Huge companies have done so but not Book Outlet. Incredibly disappointing and won’t be buying from them ever again.

Good prices comparing to other book stores

I ordered a book for my toddler daughter, book never arrived, and when I follow up, I was told because it's past 10 days from expected delivery date, there is nothing they can do. So I was charged for the book, never recieved it, and was turned away with no refund nor follow ups. This is a fradulent site - do not use.

I’ve ordered from them before and never had an issue. However most recently I placed a large order and I was shorted 3 items (3 kids craft kits) - I had ordered 19 and only received 16. I was at the door when the courier arrived so I know there wasn’t any porch thefts. Customer service is near impossible to reach - I called multiple times during business hours (no one ever answers the phone or returns calls to the Voicemails I left). I opened a ticket online via their help Center but no reply there either. It leaves me with no choice to get this rectified other than going through the credit card company I guess. It’s really disappointing as these were prizes for kids in our neighborhood.

This company is fine as long as you receive your order, but if you don't it is close to impossible to get in contact with them. I have tried contacting them via email, social media, their contact us form and have had no luck, every option either does not work or I get an autoreply saying they are not monitoring the inbox. I cannot find a phone number for them. UPDATE: After their reply here, I eventually managed to make contact by using the contact us form from the edge browser, as it was not working for me at all in Chrome. I still think that there should be more than one way of contacting, especially if that one option isn't working consistently.

I love this site! The books I purchased were next to brand new and the prices are so good. I like that the company is Canadian. I received my orders in great time. I am definitely getting some of my Christmas gifts from this site.
