We would just like to say a massive big thank you to Paul Moors at Stump Busters Merseyside for doing a fantastic job at stump grinding two ugly Leylandii stumps from the front of our house. We now have a beautiful space in a woodland setting to replace with nicer trees and plants. Pauls work is spot on , very neat and tidy afterwards. You would never know he's been apart from the missing tree trunks. Nothing more satisfying than comming home from work and to be able to put the kettle on for a cuppa rather than having to clear up after such a messy job has been done. Having had a previous tree surgeon try and fail to grind out the stump of a large (4ft diameter) horse chestnut, we weren't sure how easy this would be, but we needn't have worried. Alan arrived promptly with his amazing grinder, helped move a shed so he could steer it expertly into the garden, and ground the stump out completely, including roots that were deep (18in) underground and well spread out. He did this and one other stump, all within just a few hours, very neatly and cheerfully despite foul weather. Very highly recommended.

Good Experience

Jimmy needed a bit of expert manoeuvring of his machine to negotiate along a narrow alleyway with a tight bend. Once into the garden he made short work of the row of leylandii stumps. Excellent job.

Ben's service was awesome - he came and inspected what we needed doing (a five-root laurel tree we had removed) and then booked a day to visit again to do the work, which involved grinding out roots on a bank next to our stream. He managed to remove all the root system with his machine (very efficient) and dealt with the issue in a hassle-free and professional manner. We now have another bed for planting up in the knowledge that it's all free of any residual tree root. I have no hesitation in recommending Ben and I fully expect that we will need his help again in the future with other projects. Thanks Ben!

We found Scott online after another company were put off by the size of the stumps to removed; we had one very large and one smaller stump to be removed. We contacted Scott via his online contact form and heard from him by phone within 5 minutes. He visited us on a Sunday afternoon to quote and was back to remove the stump within the week. he and his co-worker were on time, polite and worked hard completing the job in great time. We would highly recommend Scott and his services and, should we need to, would use him again in the future. We received brilliant service from start to finish!

Straight forward arrangements, one phone call. Turned up on time and carried out a thorough check of the area around the stump for water, gas and electric lines. Very friendly service with safety at the top of the list.

Andy arrived at the agreed time. After moving a nearby Virgin Media cable out of the way, he completely removed a 9" and 12" stump taking just 5 minutes each, using screens to protect the area from flying debris. He then smoothed out the soil around the area, raked the grass and tidied up with his blower/vac. He had a friendly and helpful manner, and charged a very reasonable fee for a great job. We are delighted to recommend his services.
