I've used DD Hammocks for about 5 years or so. I've bought hammocks, tarps, sleeping bags etc. I don't often do reviews, only when I'm seriously impressed with products or service and so on. I can honestly say after years of experience that DD is my, "Go to," for any and all of this gear. High quality, excellent service, excellent products and prompt delivery. I genuinely can't speak highly enough of DD and as a Brit, I'm also proud of the fact that they're a British company. I recently ordered an XL Tarp and it arrived by the next day. I appreciate that the can't guarantee this so I was seriously impressed with this. But most importantly is the quality. My DD camping hammock is still going strong after about 5 years and my Jura sleeping bag is excellent, really warm. Just wanted to say a big thank you to the staff. Just a superb company.

Tarp is great, lots of attachment points. Frontline Hammock is heavy and bulky, I have one from Covacure which is way cheaper and smaller. Of course the DD hammock has more features like zippers on both sides and a double layer for a mat, but that doesn't weigh up to the practicality of a lighter and more compact hammock that is also way cheaper. Also, the attachment system (stretchy rope) had burn marks on it when I bought it.

We love their products and their customer service is excellent. Our order came in a lot sooner than we expected.

DD HAMMOCKS are an excellent company with outstanding design in tarps, Hammocks, and other equipment. I am so pleased with their products that I now have purchased quite a few, and will continue to buy from them. The only gripe I have is their delivery service is quite slow as they often use DPD and they can be unreliable sometimes. Well done DD for making great products.

My order arrived earlier than expected, i am very happy. my bergen rucksack is beautiful and i'm impatient to try it, very nice also the free t-shirt. it's not my first purchase of DD products and so far I can say they are really good. Caroline and Joe at DD Hammocks are fantastic. I ordered a 3x3 tarp and a XL magic carpet. I had an issue with a few loose threads on the XL and Caroline responded immediately, answered my questions and assured me that if problems with the stitching arise in the future DD will make it right. I had a question about the 3x3 PRO tarp. And again I received a response immediately, but this time from Joe. Joe informed me that tarp was being redesigned and would be available again in the future. Both Caroline and Joe where polite, friendly and knowledgeable. The 3x3 tarp is excellent. I've pitched it 5 different configurations already. Its great in the rain and the wind, drys quickly and packs easy. Thanks again for great customer service and products.

I ordered a 3x3 tarp to keep out the rain when I next camp with my wonderful DD frontline hammock. It came in less than 24 hours from ordering, really fast, well but simply packaged. Can't wait to get out there now!

I have bought a number of items from DD Hammock after I was advised to try them by a bushcraft instructor I was working alongside. I have two tarps and the XL Frontline Hammock and I can wholeheartedly recommend DD to anyone that is wanting proper usable kit that will last. I am not a novice to hammocks and in total I have 4, the DD hammock is superior, there is no question about it, as well as being supremely comfortable. The thing that struck me with DD more than anything though was just how helpful the staff are, they have on two occasions gone beyond what one would expect from customer service, it's been more like having friends there looking out for you. They obviously have a passion for what they do and it's become obvious as to why they have the reputation they have earned as being the go to supplier of camping and outdoor shelter equipment.

Absolutely amazing products. If like me, you like to research your new equipment before buying I can say that you will not have any worries regarding the quality nor the service of DD Hammocks. The SuperLight range is exactly as promised. Extremely tiny pack size and weight. Performance is outstanding and the quality of the products are exactly what you are looking for. I ordered more yesterday and they arrived this morning in such a small package that I thought things were missing but I was wrong, the pack size is just incredibly small. You will be amazed.

I’ve been looking to complete my hammock set up for a while now and decided to take the plunge with DD. Their reviews are always positive and I can now see why. I bought a complete rig (frontline hammock, under quilt and hammock quilt, Berger rucksack and some whoopie slings. Oh and a 3x3 tarp). The quality in each item is amazing for what wasn’t really that much money. I could’ve got it cheaper but I just wouldn’t have gotten the same attention to detail and material quality. The service was quick and friendly as well. I accidentally forgot one item and then ordered it from a separate account. The guys at DD updated my order and condensed it into one so it still arrives the next day all together. Amazing. If you want a brand you can trust, then DD is the way forward. I like to stick to one brand and these are now my go to for all things camping!

I’m a seasoned hammock camper and have used different hammocks in jungle deployments in the Royal Marines. Now a days I enjoy hammock camping when I’m in the wilderness wild camping ( as a hobby now) A good friend and fellow camper advised me to get a DD hammock and I didn’t listen. I eventually decided to treat myself and got the DD travel Hammock along with the underblanket. I went for a camp as soon as it arrived and it is the best hammock I have ever slept in. I had the best nights sleep I have had in the great outdoors and it’s actually sorted out some back niggles I have had, no joke. I don’t normally do reviews but I am extremely impressed and had to voice my experience. If you are just thinking about getting a DD hammock don’t just think do it, I’ve tried nearly every other brand and DD have blew them out of the water. You won’t be disappointed.

I purchased a scout Hammock & 3x3 tarp on different occasions both items were dispatched and delivered very quickly. Top quality materials. The tarp can make some really good shelters very impressed with that as a stand alone product.
