I bought the DD jungle super light hammock kit for my upcoming fundraising expedition in Borneo. I took it for a shakedown trial in the Wye Valley whilst doing wild camping and climbing. Firstly, the lightness and compactness is excellent. Secondly on finding a suitable spot its deployment was hassle free. The whoopie slings and sliding suspension cords worked perfectly. And the gear bag on the overhead ridge cord is a lifesaver! The woodland had its share of nocturnal flying insect but the mossie net did its job. The weather became inclement so I deployed the compact weather tarp over the hammock and lashed it down. Despite strong gusts and showers the inside cocoon was very comfortable and dry. Highly recommend this jungle kit.

I have been using a DD tarp for a little while and recently picked up the superlight frontline hammock. Really impressed with this! I had never used a hammock before and was worrying about setting it up and using it. It ended up being trivially easy, had a great range between trees and was a great nights sleep. DD HAMMOCKS, where too start ,, products, I've been using DD kit for a while now , absolutely superb kit , never lets me down , and I go out in some pretty tough weather ( Scotland ), DD kit is the kind one can purchase knowing that it'll do its job, and excel . I've found DD HAMMOCKS customer service just as good as there products, every bit of kit ordered has been delivered on time ( actually, for me ,usually next day being near company HQ, ), Put simply , great kit, brilliant team , 👍.

I bought this tarp in 2015 and I have spent a great deal of time in the woods in all conditions. Rain, sleet, snow and strong winds. I've set the tarp up in many different ways to shelter myself from those weather conditions....Lean-to, Ardirondack, Plough Point and A-Frame etc. The multiple tie-out points are strong,none have ripped, and the sheer amount makes it very easy and convenient to set-up in various ways to shelter yourself. The square shape of the tarp is much more versatile than rectangle tarps, and I find 3m x 3m gives plenty of space for myself, my dog and my equipment when we go camping. I really like the brown colour, I find it merges better within the woodlands. After 4 years, it's still going strong, less for a couple of small burn holes (which I'm still to patch up) while set up close to a fire - to be expected when using a polyurethane tarp next to a fire. But all-in-all, it's an outstanding tarp, and I highly recommend it.... for 790g of weight at £37.00, you're getting a great piece of kit which will last a very long time.

I highly recommend DD Hammocks to anyone! Customer service and delivery times are outstanding. I only recently started getting back out into the woods about 3yrs ago. I had been spending most my time watching my two daughters play soccer, now they have both graduated college I figured it was time. I've only purchased the DD travel hammock & hammock skin, the 3x3 tarp, and the Jura 2 sleeping bag. All of which I am very impressed with the quality. Especially the sleeping bag! It has changed my whole outlook on winter camping. Looking forward to getting the Rucksack and super light one man tent. And who knows what else! No company is perfect, but it's how you resolve mistakes that makes the difference. I own almost every piece of DD camping gear going. It's all of the highest quality and workmanship. There have been items with faults, but the customer service team as second to none! All emails are replied to within the day, all return postage is refunded and the replacement item is guaranteed not to have the same issue. The only reason I don't shop with them any more is I own all their products, but soon as something new comes out I'm jumping on it.

Great customer service! Got the tarps in one day and we reside in the United States. Will be doing business with them again. The Tarp is a 4x4 great construction at tie out points, strong feeling fabric. Very happy with this tarp!

I ordered a DD Frontline Hammock and a DD 3x3 Olive Green Tarp. On first use I noticed there was a small patch on the underneath of the tarp where the coating hadn't taken properly. I contacted DD who then asked me to return the tarp, so they could replace for a new one. Overall the quality was very good, and a well designed and constructed tarp. The Hammock was the best of 3 I have tried before deciding on this one. The insect netting was a finer mesh and higher quality, and overall the finish with stitching etc was much much better. I returned the tarp, and received confirmation from Joe at DD Hammocks that they had indeed received it and would be replacing it. At this point I asked if I could upgrade to the DD XL Tarp (4.5m x 3m). Joe kindly and enthusiastically agreed, and I paid the difference. Throughout my entire dealings with the company, they have been fast to respond, friendly and professional at all times! It was like emailing a friend.
