Engineer Zulfi attended within the 3 hour time window. Was polite and professional and quickly identified thd issue with thd washing machine. Complete all required checks, remedied the fault . Great service.

He was great , lovely guy , very reliable as we both texted each other with our whereabouts as we were both coming to the property from different places , and he was a good , quick and efficient engineer . Really nice chap and good engineer . šŸ™Œ

Used this company to get our fridge freezer door switched. The technician was efficient and tidy and the job was completed relatively quickly. I have given five stars as we did have to call them after the technician had left as the bottom bracket was slightly loose but he was very prompt with a phone call and returned to tighten the bottom bracket within the hour.

The timing of the appointment was challenging for Capital Repairs - it was set for between 1500 and 1800; very little communication from the company and the engineer arrived at 2100; he diagnosed the problem and advised us of the likely cost of repairs - we decided to replace the machine, so good service and advice from the engineer.

New motor fitted for £959 and then extractor still didnt work. A new Engineer came on 16 Feb and informed of faulty panel in extractor now. Did i need to replace motor? Motor and extractor still not working and have been chasing since 21 Feb and nobody replies / calls back.

Repair arranged through John Lewis insurance for oven. Intial visited sorted promptly with parts ordered on W/C 26th Feb I was told within 1 week, repair appointment would be made - nothing heard. Multiple follow up emails since haven't been responded so still with faulty oven....

Mine was an easy fix, but the engineer they sent was clearly knowledgeable, personable, very honest, and helpful. Will call them again for washing machine issues.

Engineer visited (paid) and ordered replacement parts (paid) >> waited for 4 months >> get nothing (waiting for refund for the parts). All sorts of excuse (trick?): 1) it's a special part which will takes longer; 2) delay in making the parts from the manufacturer side; 3) the parts are with engineer (who never showed up); 4) the parts are coming back to warehouse and will rebook engineer visit (been told this so many times over a week and half...). Not sure if they are actually want to do the business, lack of management/procedure, or just playing tricks to get your money.

Disappointing Assured parts would be with engineer. Nothing... No one calls post engineer visiting to order parts... I call and it's closed 40min early Pointless 'service'

I would like to recommend ā€œCapital Repairsā€ we have an old Candy Oven & Hob! Acquired it as we have recently moved in! I rang a local company to where we live to ask if they could repair the hot plate? It stopped working day 2 of moving in!!! I was asked lots of questions about the cooker & had to give my details to be told ā€œNo it was too old!ā€ they would not take it on! So very different with ā€œCapitalā€ they have restored my old cooker! An Engineer came out, only took 15 mins to find the problem & order the part. They managed to get it for the job & yesterday the same Engineer ā€˜Radu’ came along & fitted it! So ā€œBingo!ā€ I am over the moon! I like the way this company work! Great service! Thank U ā€œCapital Repairs!ā€ So glad I found U in the Ads of my phone directory! Very pleased!

Unreliable company offering services to Homerecue247. The company Homerecue247 is unreliable when it comes to providing services. We reported a faulty oven in November last year, and as of February 2024, it still has not been fixed. The engineer from Capital Repairs did not do the job properly, necessitating another call to the company. They gave us an appointment for 2nd January, but then rescheduled, citing a lack of available engineers in the area. On the scheduled day of 31st January, we waited all day, only to receive an SMS from the engineer just before 5 pm, stating that he was on the way, but he never showed up. When we contacted Capital Repairs, they said they would have to reschedule the job. There have been constant delays, and it appears they rely on a single engineer for London, which explains the missed appointments. It's disappointing that their engineer couldn't even fix a simple cooker oven.

Jason 02 came to my house with a fault with the tumble dryer and when doing a loop test he found a fault with the main electrics due to EDF fitting a smart meter and not connecting the earth back to the main house. Outstanding customer service always calls the day before with a time when he will be here I would 100% recommend Jason and capital repair

Look out! Don’t trust this scamming company. You just wast money on diagnosis's visiting fee and wast your time. They aim at those old people or who have no knowledge of appliance. All their replies in this website are robotic, they know exactly who has complained and contact information, but still asking you to provide this. This is ridiculous. Be cautious! Avoid this Capital scammers !

Once the engineer comes out for Initial call out which I couldn’t fault, Jason was good, he said the oven would need replacing. But I’ve still not received my receipt which I need to tax accounts

*UPDATE: After posting this review I received a prompt and helpful call from John at Capital Repairs. John arranged for Jason (a Neff specialist engineer) to come out asap this morning. Jason completed a thorough investigation - as well as an overall health check of the oven - and was able to figure out which hinge component needed to be replaced. Jason has advised that Capital Repairs will place an order for the part which should arrive in a few days, and will be back in touch in to arrange a return visit to make the repair. I will update this review once the oven is fixed. ***** This company sent an engineer named Zolphi out yesterday to fix my Neff oven door that had come off its hinge system. The engineer immediately said the appliance could not be fixed onsite and they would need to take my oven away and diagnose and quote for a full repair including parts. He did not even attempt to put the door back on per manufacturing instructions posted on their website and on YouTube videos by other repair companies. I phoned customer service this morning and spoke to Rebecca who was completely unprofessional and refused to send out another engineer until the 2nd of February. Note that the first engineer was booked within 24 hours. I paid £88.00 to receive zero service and Capital repairs are refusing to refund my money so I can have someone else come sooner.

I purchased a new cooker from a very well known retailer on the 19th of October 2023 it was delivered on the 20th October 2023 late delivery even though I paid for time slot they actually refunded my delivery fee, but on the 2/3rd December the grill door came off i called customer service and was told nothing could be done until the 3rd of January 2024,long story short unacceptable but was told if I had taken ou extended warranty they would have changed cooker even though allegedly my 12 month warranty was not good enough. I then contacted capital repairs and managed to get an engineer for 18.12 23 who came to repair it unfortunately on 23rd it came off again i called capital repairs and they sent out another engineer (no extra charge)and he came back with two new hinges and fitted them and it is perfect , I cannot thank Gillian and Rebecca (receptionist’s) and Ali and Jason) engineer’s enough without them my Christmas and new year would have been ruined as I had my family visiting,If I ever need anything done with my appliances I will definitely use and recommend their company. Thank you.

Wow where to begin with Capital Repairs. Literally the worst company I have ever come across and who do not care for their customers. Our washing machine has being getting 'fixed' since August 2023 and we're now in January 2024. What started as a simple fix of a softener dispenser not working has involved multiple different parts being fitted and still not resolving the issue. The last time an engineer came in mid-December he completely broke our machine when putting it back together. And told us we need yet another part . For the last three weeks our engineer has not even bothered to show up or even let us know they wouldn't be coming. We've missed two friends birthdays now as we've had to wait around all day. Despite multiple calls to the office and they always ensure us the engineer is on his way, they never are. I've lost count of the times I've had to call and either no one seems bothered or ever gives us a call back. We've requested to speak to the manager several times and have been fobbed off without explanation or a call back. We've had no washing machine since December the 16th and laundrettes are costing us a fortune. Whenever they offer a new booking slot, its not next day to say sorry they didn't make it but literally 10 days later and then they never turn up. Honestly do not know how this company is in business. Oh and they say they're open Sundays but they're not.

I first called out Capital Repairs for my Smeg oven in October 2023. The fan heater wasn't working, so they said the heating elements had broken and I needed new ones. Which I ordered and payed for. Some two weeks later they came with the new heating elements and the fan oven still didn't work....they said this time it was the selector switch. I ordered and payed for a new selector switch. In January 2024 after countless phone calls they came out, fitted the new selector switch and still the fan oven wouldn't work. They then said there might be something wrong with the wiring. I have now spent £495 on parts and labour and am exactly where I was at the beginning. They now say they can't, or rather WON'T, do anything....so nearly £500 later I have achieved nothing. Completely useless company, and pleasant until something goes wrong when they turn very UNpleasant. Don't waste your money!

We used Capital Repairs to try and repair our 27 year old SMEG hob which we knew was a long shot. We were very impressed by the gas engineer Adrian, who was very thorough. He explained and demonstrated clearly why the repair was ultimately not feasible. I would definitely use the service again and recommend. We would like to pass on our thanks to Adrian for his professional and helpful service.
