Excellent all round despite a few communication problems. I’m looking forward to adding to our small collection however I need to research correct usage and hopefully the YouTube site will be clear. I’m a convert but have to use traditional western knives too to adapt to the complex makeup of the billions of ingredients and cuts of … they’re a necessary luxury in our household, and a joy to use.

Delivery was a real issue. My purchase was a set of chopsticks and a few greetings cards, but DPD demand ID for delivery so would not leave my parcel in a ‘safe place’. I had two missed deliveries (I am at work in the day like most people) and it took over a week to get my wooden chopsticks and greetings cards! I can understand that a kitchen knife delivery would require proof of age, but chopsticks? Please sort this out. (I have changed my rating because of Japanese Knife Company’s excellent and proactive moves to deal with the issue I’ve highlighted. They’ve contact me personally, and told me how they’re dealing with the issue…first rate!)
