We recently bought some chairs from Neptune in bury st Edmund’s. Unfortunately, 3 days after we had them delivered, I sat down to dinner and the front leg gave way ( much to the hilarity of my husband 😩). However, I immediately phoned the store and they were absolutely brilliant. They were so apologetic, asking if I was okay and were straight on to head office to get a replacement. They also said that I must have one for Christmas from their display, so one of the staff put it in her car and dropped it off to us on her way home that evening. Shortly after Christmas we had a brand new chair delivered. Things happen to products that we sometimes buy and that’s life, but the real quality comes from a company who handles things well, kindly and promptly. I really feel that these staff went above and beyond. Thank you

Poor service. I’ve been a long time customer of Neptune and have lots of items of theirs, thousands of pounds of items. I bought a headboard from them, had to wait 3 months but I am patient. Unfortunately I had to be at the dentist when the delivery was due. My brother was present. They did not unwrap the item, moved my bed without permission and left the extremely heavy headboard in a place that was really awkward. I had asked them to leave it against the wardrobe but this was not done. So I came home to find my bed moved to the middle of the room and I had to struggle with cardboard which is huge and a heavy headboard on my own. It was really hard to get the item out of the packaging on my own. Neptune had said the item would be unpackaged and they would take the packaging away but they didn’t. I complained and was met with nonsense. I spent 30 mins getting it out of the packaging, more time putting my bed back to where it was (as they moved it with out my permission) and time complaining. Zero compensation for my time. Time they wasted. Also beware if you’re buying a headboard thinking it will fit a divan (because they advertise it will fit a bed)…it won’t and you’ll need to secure it to the wall by drilling in a piece of wood. That is more disruption and hassle. Really disappointing.

We had seen the wardrobe we chose on display at Neptune in Wimbledon but made the purchase near where we live in Norfolk, from Neptune in the Appleyard at Holt. Susannah and David were a great to deal with. The Delivery was from stock and the 2 delivery people were great including the assembly.

I have always yearned for a Neptune kitchen and when we got planning permission to extend our cottage, we went straight to the Chesham showroom. From start to finish we were looked after so well. Rebecca really understood our design brief and brought it to life, James (our Project Manager) worked extremely well with our builder Mark and Glenn installed the kitchen seamlessly. I could go on, suffice to say we are very happy and thrilled with our new kitchen.

Order didn’t arrive in time that was supposed to, as evidently got ‘lost’ by courier !!! House number and half street was not on paperwork (was on mine ) . Been told another has been ordered but have not received yet !! WATCH THIS SPACE The item has now been delivered!! Would like to thank Gemma (Manager of the Chichester store) who has helped to make this this matter happen to my satisfaction.
