United Kingdom | 31 October 2024Easy to set up and staff are extremely kind, supportive and helpful. A few issues arose when the alarm was pressed by mistake. Firstly, your number coming up on my phone as potential spam, twice, so I didn't answer. Then leaving a voicemail saying an ambulance had been called. I rarely listen to voicemail. I am wondering why the next listed telephone number wasn't contacted which would have been better? I would suggest that any new users are asked to save your number into their mobile phone when opening an account. Again, staff are extremely pleasant and helpful.

United Kingdom | 31 October 2024I recommended a GPS alarm (where you communicate through the pendant itself) for my Mum because her hearing is very poor and it worried me that if she felt unwell or fell she could be too far from the base unit used in nonGPS types to hear your communications and reassurance. However, when we tested the GPS pendant we received it set up feedback in Mum’s hearing aids and the one closest to the pendant (about 6ft away) stopped working. Your customer care team have advised me that feedback can happen due to the mobile signal used, and that Careline has no solution to this problem. We could change to a different alarm using the base unit for communication, but the communication through the GPS pendant itself was a very important aspect. What I had hoped was that you would be able to tell me makes / types of hearing aid which are compatible with your GPS alarm, so that we could arrange for new ones for Mum that would be ok. However, if this is not possible, please can your sales team check if hearing aids will be involved with any GPS enquiry so that the enquirer can have a chance to contact their own manufacturer before finalising.

United Kingdom | 31 October 2024It took lots of calls before I eventually spoke to someone. We needed to change from Analogue to Digital due to BT upgrading broadband. It is a shame that data can't be transferred from Appello to Careline 365 without having to fill in a long form again. When I installed new call system there were quite long delays before anyone answered. This was just to check system was working... good job client didn't need anyone... hope call answering times improve. Time will tell.

He made me laugh for tge 1st time since my Husband passed in May this year. I joke and said he reminded me of Harry from Only Way is Essex. Not that I watch the Programme. He's a credit to you. 🥰

United Kingdom | 29 October 2024Easy to book and careline arrived very quickly. Pendant wouldn't sync so had to send a replacement which they did very quickly. Only issue so far is it takes a few minutes to answer the call when we press the alarm, it was only for tests so was fine - but worried my relative may be lyingin in paind for a few minues if they ahd a fall for real!

United Kingdom | 23 October 2024We took out a careline device for my vulnerable elderly mother, and they sent a non waterproof strap on the wrist device, so every time she showered it was uncomfortable as soaking wet for hours! I spoke to them and they sent a replacement which was exactly the same. I spoke to them again and they sent a waterproof one finally, but it was very over sensitive, waking my mother up in the night and going off when she was just sat talking to me, which caused her great distress! I spoke to them and they agreed to replace it, I emphasised it needed to be waterproof and was assured it would be, then yet again a non waterproof one came! This was far too much distress for my mother who wanted rid, so I contacted them to cancel and THEY REFUSED saying someone would have to get back to me! I asked to raise a complaint and was told someone would contact me. I asked for a manager and was refused. All this time my mother continued to be harassed day and night by the device going off for no reason, and she said she wanted it cancelled. They sent an envelope out and I returned the device, but to this date still no one has contacted me about the cancellation request! They refused to give any pro rata refund when it was paid annually and mis sold as waterproof and then faulty as constantly going off in error, so my mother paid for a year and they kept every penny of hers! They are now chasing her for the device we have already returned and still haven't contacted me, the point of contact on the account, as they are aware she has dementia!! Appalled at how they have treated my mother when the devices provided do not work as intended!
