United States | 03 November 2021I would rather make lanyards using strips of old lunch bags and crayons than to order again through IDville. Let me be very specific about this disaster. 1. I ordered 100 lanyards from their QUICK SHIP program. I filled out their order form, setup up AND APPROVED the artwork on THEIR website, and PAID in full. I did EVERYTHING asked of me. Now quick means prompt, soon, or swift. When I called 10 days later to inquire about my order, Denise their customer service rep who is very nice but apparently powerless, said I had not APPROVED the order and it was sitting in nowhereville going nowhere. Had I NOT called, it would still be sitting in nowhereville. I pointed out that I had done EVERYTHING that their QUICK SHIP automated order process had required and that I had actually VIEWED AND APPROVED A PROOF that their website had generated. Regardless, the order had not moved anywhere near production or quick shipping. Denise said she would do what she could; hardly reassuring. 2. Their CHAT feature is fake. When you "chat" online, that implies or guarantees that you are speaking with a real person. Not so at IDVille. Their CHAT feature is simply a robot who cannot answer anything other than basic FAQ questions based on key words. It cannot find any order by number, or name, or anything else, or tell you anything about a specific order. It's a joke. 3. Further, when I went BACK into the IDVille site - or tried to - even though I had already PLACED an order, I did not actually have an account, nor could I search BY account, OR BY ORDER NUMBER. Nor could I CREATE an account at all. So even as an existing customer, I could find nothing about my existing order. Denise as much as admitted this, and said "they were working on it." 4. No emails EVER arrived to me with status information or updates. Once they got my money, it was crickets. 5. When I called one last time, just out of blind hope, Denise said she had good news! That my order would ship and might arrive the day AFTER I needed them. How stupid do I look to my superiors. So this was a disaster through and through. Their QUICK SHIP PROGRAM, actually takes weeks and weeks, and phone call after phone call. Their CHAT is not chat. Denise is nice but has no real power. On one occasion she let slip that "she would talk to her vendor about expediting the order." Her vendor? Does IDVille not actually make anything itself? Or are they just order takers for some big factory someplace? I have no idea. Go elsewhere.
