Ordered an Avet SXJ reel from TacleDirect which showed as 'in-Stock' when I ordered it. Received the automated 'Order Confirmation' as per normal. When I click on 'View Order Status' both the 'Order Status' and 'Tracking' fields are blank. When I attempt to use the 'Track Orders' facility on the website, I get the error message as follows: Error: The order information you requested was not found, please try again later. I deliberately chose to purchase the reel from TackleDirect (as opposed to Amazon) to support a 'privately owned family company'. I do hope TackleDirect manages to sharpen up their online order fulfillment process.

I never received my order. Never received a tracking number. When I can was told they were shipping from a different location, and that was the last I heard. Would love to cancel the order and get my money back. These were ordered 2 months ago

Do not use Tackle Direct for any of your fishing needs! If they screw up your order (and there’s a good chance they will), it is impossible to get anyone on the phone to resolve the issue. I have been calling and waiting on hold for days and I still haven’t even spoken to a human being on the phone yet. Tackle Direct got my money, and I never received my order!

Been satisfied with the many times I have purchased fishing tackle from Tackle Direct. Makes it very convenient to shop from home with the many new products TD has to offer. Usually comes within a week with only one occasion I did not receive what I requested.

Stay Away. After I purchased multiple rods, reels, and lures, they do not know how to treat customers. They could not help me with broken (by shipping) and defective rods. Oh, and they do not send the hooks which I ordered.
