United Kingdom | 05 February 2025I was told by money saving expert (via a phone call that they instigated made to me) that British Gas was a cheaper rate than EON. This is after previously checking online myself and establishing in my opinion that EON was the cheapest rate. I took MSE at their word and agreed to switch on their say so. It turns out that the rate I was switched to with British Gas was circa 10% more expensive and has cost me in excess of £350 per annum as a result of. Not a happy bunny!!!

Both of them were lovely and personable and answered all of my questions about getting the best deals on energy especially during these cold months.
