United Kingdom | 10 August 2018I am pleased with my purchase of the Weber BBQ, and happy with the price. I got the free chimney offer, but assumed there would be some coals ,as in the chimney pack. Not so! But I got some locally ,so could BBQ anyway. The chimney made all the difference to getting it going, and the food tasted much better than from my Cadac gas BBQ.

My local garden centre had taken payment (to take advantage of a discount although the item wasn’t in stock) and as I wasn’t in a hurry was happy to wait for Weber to re-stock. To skip to the end, after 7 weeks it still hadn’t arrived, so at my garden centre’s request I ordered online from yourselves and was fully reimbursed from my garden centre with a goodwill gesture to boot! Your dispatch was exemplary as it arrived on the Sunday (next day) in time for brunch & was duly christened 20 mins after delivery with bacon & eggs! Riverside Garden Centre is highly recommended.

United Kingdom | 13 June 2018Delivery nightmare!!! First time buying from Riverside and never again! I bought a Weber BBQ and they were supposed to deliver it on Saturday. Got an e-mail and text with a time slot for Sat – delivery never arrived and did not hear from them either. I stayed home the whole day, not even a text saying “they ran out of delivery time”. I called Riverside to complain on Sunday, after a while I was told if I was not happy, I could cancel my order. They promised to sort it out on Monday. I got an e-mail Monday morning saying the item was going to be delivered on Monday, which never happened. Again! I contacted them on Tuesday, to be told they tried to deliver the item but there was no one home. I was never told they would come on Tuesday. I am afraid to say there is something very wrong with Riverside delivery policy. I decided to cancel my order and buy one from good old John Lewis, who matches prices and deals and has always been reliable. If this is how Riverside treats their customers, I doubt they will have many customers left.

I literally can’t fault the whole process from ordering to delivery. I bought a Weber bbq which was cheaper here than anywhere else. It was very well packaged and was delivered promptly. Would definitely use them again. Thank you.

I emailed them about a Query I had a day after delivery which was very prompt by DPD and I received an email back within minutes from Sara who was so helpful and I would definitely recommend Riverside and will certainly be using them again . France | 13 September 2017I am EXTREMELY satisfied with the Customer Service department!!! I ordered a set from Alexander Rose to be delivered to France. It came EXACTLY when requested (paid for it too) Unfortunatelly one leg was damaged. I emailed them and in less than 24hs I got an answer: Alexander Rose would send a new chair straight to France. 13 days later... the chair arrived! After hearing so much about Customer "services" on other sites or companies I was originally scared. But Alexander Rose and RiverSide simply exceeded my expectations. THANK YOU!!! continue like this! More customers will come and recommend you (as I am doing)

Contacted Riverside and they speedily agreed to make up the difference-this is a great way to treat your customer and i will certainly look to buy again from them

I had a confirmation email to confirm it would be delivered the following day which it was. Absolutely delighted with the product and the service - will definitely be using again.

United Kingdom | 17 November 2016I purchased a parasol from Riverside in Jan,I didnt use it until june because of the bad summer.Cracks appeared in the main post,then 2nd Nov one of the spars snapped rendering it useless. I emailed Riverside and received the following "Unfortunately on this occasion we are unable to help as this would no longer be under warranty.". I replied with this "Hi its only 10 months old. How long would the warranty be? I owned one of these from nasty B+Q for about 7 years" with no problem. Riverside didnt reply, no responce at all, only more 'junk' advertising emails.

United Kingdom | 24 June 2016We ordered a £119 parasol that, unfortunately, was not suitable. It was supposed to arrived in 3-5 working days - it didn't. When we returned it (at our own cost but that's understandable) we were then charged a £30 repackaging fee, despite the box having minimal damage. I have asked them how they justify such a figure but have not yet had a reply.

We were looked after by Jake from the Weber team, his product knowledge and helpful attitude was 5 star at least! Great guy, thanks Jake we love our Spirit E320. After sales help also outstanding, box taken to car for us, all the extra packaging removed at car for us and off we went. Brilliant experience from shop entry to exit. thanks guys, we had a great time and will be telling all our friends :-) :-) Andy + Sue.
