Interest rate double what was advertised. Canstar and their website data meaningless. Portal does not work with all banks for documents.

NO hassel loan easy to application speedy reply, would use again

Overall I am happy with Alex Bank although it was a bit misleading giving us one repayment amount when we subscribed only to find the repayment was nearly double that when we took the loan out.

The information about interest rates and credit score on the website seems very misleading. I had an excellent score, applied for a 6 month loan and when my loan offer arrived it had the highest of their interest rates (which I assume it’s for average credit score) and the loan period was 2 years. Very different from my expectation or from what the website showed when I was applying. On a positive note, their highest rates are still the same as most banks, the process was very easy and all online, and you’re not limited to amount you can pay, which means I’m able to pay my 2 year loan in 6 months if I want to.

Completing the loan process online was a little daunting, but the steps provided were explained and understandable, completing identity confirmations via mobile a bonus, making the process quick and reassuring through to the call back, finalisation and notification of outcome within days. A positive experience that I have already shared and referred others to consider.

Would highly recommend to family and friends. Great communication and had an answer the same day. There rates are very competitive with no monthly fees attached. Will use them in the future for my next purchase. Thanks
